Im not sure tbh, I changed 3 sets I think. I did the replays one in CV05 with the crude upscale but im not sure it looks right. I dont think the shadow is working on it and its fullscreen when it passes. And I changed the 2 sets of EML flag icons in CV0a with the CL ones at the far end of the files. Basically just copied them over.

As I said though I dont really know if Ive done it right, or if it even works properly as the only thing I can do to see it atm is to load my BAL game at the Euro League knockout stages. Then I just play the game a bit and take a shot and see the CL logo but thats all sofar.

Ah, I see, let me know how it goes once you've reached the European Cup games.

Also, the shadows and highlights for the replay logo is a bit tedious and it takes quite abit of work and trial & error, so it can be really time consuming. Most patchers (including me) just leaves the highlight & shadows out of it since the logo itself looks decent enough.

Emm... that awful "Bienalle-pop art" menu, is GONE from my PES, since day one!!! AWFUL idea, who "brilliant" mind thought that? Is THIS, the kind of change we want from KONAMI each year or REAL changes, in gameplay, leagues' numbers, true transfers/players' names etc.?

Anyway, m8, it would be wonderful if you post a pack with "VISTA-like" glossy logos...
My... LIVERPOOL FC menus, need these kind of logos.

Oh, you meant Vista logo as in the ones with the borders, or the actual desktop icons?

The one you have downloaded last year could be mine or "robablade's".

I really don't know if I have the motivation to make a Championship file this year.
I have already started on it but I have realised that I would not be able to complete the patch by myself alone, I need some people to help me convert some stats from Football Manager 2008 while at the same time I am editing the PES2009_EDIT01.bin and .img files. On top of that there are players' apperances, about 500 players to create...it is too much for only myself to do.
So until I can get some help, I don't think I am up for it this year, sorry.

I can help you do the logos sometime though.

Deckz, have you tried fooling around the the League A-D logos? I know that everyone has their Leagues A-D set differently, but it would be cool in BAL if instead of seeing League D in each game(u know the 3D logo that they show in replays during the game) if you could see a Serie A logo.

Hey, just found someone who has patched the BaL trophy images, it looks really good.

I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know if it includes the logos for Leagues A to D

If AFS Explorer says the files are patched, then it should be replaced already.
If you want to make really sure, you can always use Game Graphic Studio and locate the bin approprioate .bin files within your .img files in the PES2009 directory. If you can see the updaetd graphics in the main canvas, then it is patched properly.

Otherwise you'd have to unlock them to see the trophies.

If that is the default settings (I will check myself later) I will do it sooner or later, if it is not the default set up then I will not make it simply cause I can't release a single .img patch udate for everyone's different request. Sorry.
If it is the default set-up it should be ready next week.

I don't think that this problem is caused by this patch. You can ask in the Troubleshooting thread. Other than that, you can replace your current .img files with the default ones from your DVD/ISO file.

Downloaded the patch and AFS Explorer and got as far as importing the first file before getting an error message!

"File has been detected as a v2 AFS file.
However, coherency errors have been detected. Use "Update" function to fix these coherency errors."

I've tried updating and I've tried not updating, either way, when I then go to import the folder, the log window tells me that the folder's been imported but none of the files were found.

Can anyone help me out? Every year it's the same battle of my brain vs stuff it doesn't understand!! :blush:

Sorry, i think the AFS Explorer link on the first is not compatible with PES2009.

4.Click ACTION>IMPORT FOLDER, then locate the relevant folders (downloaded patch folder) and click OK.
If asked whether you want to modify reserved space, click yes and save a new name for the .img file.
Once the file is patched, delete or back up your old .img file and rename your new one to the correct name (cv_0a.img, cv_05.img, and rv0c_e.img).

What is the relevant folder? I have no idea which folder to import.

ie, if you are patching the file cv_05.img, locate the folder named cv_05.img within the patch folder you have downloaded.

Sorry, I don't think it's possible since you'd have to access the .img files within the BluRay disc which i think is not possible on PS3 (yet?).
I may not have explained it clearly since I do not own a PS3 myself, but it's along the lines of what i have explained.
