For me this is the best new feature added to the game.
But every time I finished inputting an image file and edited/saved the player, it doesn't work after I quit then restart PES08.

After restart the edited player's head/skin is always black without facial details, and the imputed(scanned) faces are lost. won't show up again even if I reload the edited data,etc.


I tried several times it doesn't work at all. Anyone have the same problem? how can we solve it?

Hi, i have the same problem as you have, everything i change in the game, after restart dissapears...and i cannot understand why always when i restart the game is asking me, to choose the game level.I think the problem is that the game is not reading tho optinon files and everything else.I remeber PES6, where everything was stored under one profile, and the game was loading all that stuff itself.maybe this it is beacause i dont have original dvd, what do you think??? or is there any patch to cover these mistakes???

what's probably happening is the game is reseting your option file back to the default every time you restart, this happens sometimes to me and its happened in pes6 too, I don't really understand why it just wants to reset the option file sometimes. You can tell if it's doing this if it asks you to choose a difficulty level when you first start the game, after you choose the difficulty level it will overwrite your edited option file with the default. Usually what I do is when I see that screen i go and copy the option file that's currently there to back it up then select a difficulty level and let the one there get overwritten and then replace the one default one with the backup one and go into edit->load save data and it brings back your edited stuff.

I wish i understood why this happens, it seems like a serious bug of some sort, it sucks to get your option file erased.
