Hi. Is anyone interested in taking part in some leagues and cups for the PC version of PES4? Please vote in the poll to give a quick indication of people interested. And please reply to this post if you want to take part. Everywhere I look, there are club team leagues taking part so how about some leagues/cups consisting of national teams?

If you have any suggestions for how leagues and cups could be played, feel free to post your ideas.

Hmm, i think the most simple thing would be a web site defining standard rules one home and away match to even out possible lag problems and then report the results in a default form with a acknowlegement mail sent to both players... The sign up should include player name and icq/messenger so people can agree on time for play. The groups should be played in any order to avoid people waiting for games and such.. IMHO :)

ohh.. and a time limit rather than waiting for games that will never be played.. so all qualifiers matches has to be reported before a date or they will not count.. and so forth!

I havent played any1 yet . i just wanna game! Whats all this talk about leagues in the post? Is there some kinda league goin on in this site that i dont know about? I think the best way is to just play against each other and build mates up as u go along . just play when u can and more ppl will follow. IS there not even two or 3 ppl who want a game . Im in all night so if any 1 wants a game reply and leave yer email so i can swap ips or somat. bye ads

i want to join but i have a slight problem...maybe you guys could help me. My dad recently got a wireless internet rooter so we could have the internet around the house. But since then, when you click 'Host' in the online option on pes4, it shows acompletely different ip to what it was before and now i cannot connect to anyone when i want to play online.Any ideas?

Maybe you have a dynamic IP - which means it changes each time you connect.
As long as you tell your opponent this number they should be able to connect to you.

What happens when you try to connect to someone else? It shouldn't make a difference what your IP is when you are a client.

We just need more intrest now, so who ever wants play in a PES4 Pc tournament from pesinsight vote and post ;)

19 people have voted yes, Zyg what about starting it up now?
most of those people will probably not be back and play in it but we should have at least 10.
thats enough to do a league, everyone plays each other twice, home and away (home being the host).

I'm still about......plan to be for ages so I'm still one of those 19 :)

Spikey, your router will set an IP address, something like 192.168.1.1 or something similar to that. In the router settings (check the manual) you can change the first two segments (the 192.168 from the example above) of your address. The IP number shown in PES4 is correct. Anyone who tries to connect to you will come into the router which will then identify you by the IP address shown in PES4. You also need to enable access to port 7000 for PES4 which can be done in the router settings. Otherwise, it will reject incoming and outgoing connections to other players. It took me a while to get it working as ZoneAlarm (the free version) will not allow you to set port access (the router and any firewall must both have port access set), but ZoneAlarm Pro does, and Windows Firewall is so crap it just lets connections go out without checking them. Hopefully that all makes sense..........
