PC PES6 widescreen...

I know the widescreen option is available for xbox 360, but I'd like to know if it is for PC.
Pes only displays the resolutions your monitor can support, and i have a normal screen right now.
but I'm thinking about getting a larger widescreen monitor, but I'd like to know if Pes 6 supports it.

I hope someone has the answer

I'm playing it @1680x1050 on a 20" widescreen,not sure if it tru widescreen support though,looks the same at lower resolutions(only see the same amount of detail) if you know what i mean

Still...it does look good @ the res i'm using

Cheers for that. Im considering getting a 19" widescreen, but wasnt sure how games would run (look).

Do most other recent games support widescreen? cheers

widescreen isnt working for me
i have a 1280 x 800 but i change the resolution settings in the game it dosent do a thing different its stuck on the same thing.

Someone else posted this elsewhere,worked for them

You have to make sure you have the latest driver for your monitor installed and that your monitor is not simply listed as being 'plug and play' in device manager. Just installed my monitor driver and now i have an option for 1680x1050 in pes 6

i have the option in settings but it dosent seem to change anything from one resolution to the next..

i want 1280 by 800 but it seems no different to the others.

username0, i saw something on another forum that might mix your problem, they were talking about a program called lodmixer, hope thats usefull to u.

look at this, here's a small update for lodmixer working on pes6.
It corrects the strected picture that is in the game default if you try to
make use of a widescreen resolution on your ws monitor.

So now you have true widescreen field in pes6, thans to Juce.
