penalties in BAL

Got a penalty in BAL and I had to take it.

The view is BEHIND the player?? I was getting ready for the rubbish angled penalty!! and I was shocked! I got the traditional behind the goal penalty??


I held left on the stick and tapped the shot button!!
I still missed by a mile tho???

Learning to take penalties on Pes2011 training mode takes about 5mins, I suggest that you do that.

I feel penalty system in Pes2011 is cool, just a bit too easy after you get a hang of it.

yeah but in BAL the penalty is the old system from behind the person running up!!! so why would the controls be the same as the angle view!!!???!!

The view doesn't change the way penalties are taken.

Does the camera type in BAL decide how the camera is in BAL penalties? Just thought, as I'm using the same camera in BAL as I'm using in ML (Wide & ball centered).

Oh, well go to practice, choose free kicks, and put the ball to spot. Now, how I use to take them, is
1. tap shoot (player starts running)
2. adjust power (tap stick either right or left: right is more power, left is a lob type penalty).
-LET GO OF STICK so it returns to middle of the pad-
3. adjust direction (press stick either up or down).

The thing here is that step 2. Power, can be very easily overdone.. Press a bit longer and it ends over the bar, so be "gentle" with it . But step 3. direction can be pressed a bit longer.

When I take penalties I never press to corners of the pad. I suggest you try it like this as well. Adjust power by tapping stick to left or right, then up or down for direction. Don't try adjusting them both on one stick push instead do them separately like I described

You can take any penalty with the view from behind the kick taker if you can be bothered changing the camera angle each time.

When the camera angle is from behind, just remember some simple functions.

Pressing down (or back towards you) on the stick creates a soft lob kick. Pressing up (or away from you) creates a hard power kick. Left goes left, and right goes right. It's rather intuitive really.

The only thing that changes when the view changes is the directions for the stick.

Just remember, pressing towards the goal in ANY view does a power shot, pressing away from the goal does a soft lob.

Now all you need to do is practice, and one important factor, when choosing shot strength, never hold the desired shot type for more than 1 second!

by the way i have had about 10,11 caps for argentina and Messi as played upfront with me every game and he is shite!!! anyone else noticed this?
