i think the worst thing in the game in 2011 and 2010.
what's up with that?
using xbox360 controller on my pc and i just can get nice shots.

it always go way above or way to the side
even if i barely touch the analog stick.

anyone sharing this frustration?:realmad:

Yes, I considered not buying PES due to the penalties and the'ok' demo.

Glad I did though as the game's great and I've figured out how to take a penalty.

'Tap' square then 'tap' back on the D-Pad. Sorted.

but how do you choose the direction of the kick?
if i move it a little left or right the ball flies out to the crowd.

pes2011 penalty is very difficult. until now i cant score. only luck i scored in the middle. try to aim side but it get worse...always wide. for gk, i cant save any penalty..i dunno y. could anyone give a tips?

thats a very good tutorial it helped me alot...but instead of using analog stick I also use the d-pad...

try a few shots on the training ground and you will manage it

summary of how to tacke penalties:
1.) press SQUARE
2.) with up and down (on dpad or analog stick) you select the direction (up=left down=right; when you shoot on the right goal)
3.) with left and right you select shoot power and height (left= for weak shot right = for strong shot...the height of the shot depends on how long you hold the direction)

Hmm, this is interesting. I never change the power by holding the direction. Basically, what I do is simultaneously tap shoot + left (panenka) or right (hard shot) and only during the run up do I hold up/down to aim for the posts.

It seems to work fine, but I guess in my next penalty I'll see if I can change the power of a panenka. I seem to remember seeing a video of a ridiculously soft panenka kick that hit the post and the gk didn't react at all even though he didn't dive....

penalty is just luck!!!!!!! timing is everything. for player i think i now get better. but for GK i think i need to practise again. i lost penalty alot, my gk just not diving (just stand and see the goal). can anybody give advice and tips? how to perform a good saver?
