1. Tap (not hold) the shoot button.
2. Halfway through the run up, hold the D-pad (left or right) for about half a second.
3. If you want to get hight to your shot, do the same as 2 (^) and hold the up (^) button for half a second.
4. If you want to chip your shot, do the same as 3 (^), but with the down button (V).
Test it in training mode to get the hang of how long you should hold the buttons.

2. now for left or right you need to press up for right or down for left might be the other way round can never quite remember for about half a second or so.

Penalties are pointless now I think, you can just score every if you do the chip one with any direction, the keeper cant save it what ever you do
if you move the keeper (move- not dive) to the direction, he will save it.

The penalties fuck with my mind, this comes from someone who feels they are a PES expert, I just find them illogical and irritating so I just go for the panenka which has almost become a default way of scoring.
I love the free kicks, I have my fears they will fuck with that next year, hopefully not. Don't know why they messed with penalties when there are more pressing issues.

the only let down in the game for me, bring back the old penalties from pes 5 they were awesome. why they changed it is beyond me hmy:
