For me, no not really. Most people go Real or Barce and pressure the hell out of you. There's no point trying to play possession football to tire them because I think the fatigue system is broken. Played a guy who went as Real pressured the hell out of me all game...I didn't pressure once and my players were wrecked whilst he waltzed around with Ronaldo. The trouble is you can counter teams like this if the connection was flawless, but because of the lag it makes it practically impossible to match a pressure abuser.

Those players who successfully pressure you experience the same lag that you do. Don't make excuses. And if pressuring gives such an advantage, why don't you do so? If pressuring a team with Barca and Real while waltzing around with Ronaldo is so successful, why don't you do it? Maybe you are not as good at it? So you sucking at handling pressure is the reason why online sucks? Then don't play competitively because at top level, elite players uses teams like Real and Barca and usually tend to pressure. If you cannot find a solution to that, then work on your tactical knowledge; during such situations, precise long balls, fast forwards, timed countering, slick one-twos and impeccable first touch is what you need. All because YOU are not adept at such skills does not mean you should think so selfishly and label the online experience as 'not really good' all because YOU aren't that good at the game. Don't make excuses for your losses; learn from them and over time, you will slowly get better and adapt to managing yourself much better in those stressful and pressuring situations.

Btw, based on my experience, this is the most lag-free PES online ever and even games with players from other continents is relatively smooth. But that is just my experience.

Absolutely brilliant. The gameplay is more deep than ever.
Played my first match and won 2-4.I was nervous that me using Long ball camera instead of wide might be a disadvantage to me but it worked well.

any good ?

I am totally surprised to say, that so far for me, for the first time in five years online PES 2012 has actually been pretty decent!

EDIT:

On closer inspection, I cant really recommend the games online component.

It is possible to get good games but there is no way of telling apart opponents who have good connections and opponents who have bad connections.

Even when the game is smooth, it plays nothing near the way it does offline and most of the goals seem to come from 'breaks' that just wouldnt happen in the offline game.
