I had that problem too. I'm using Vista 32bit. Whenever I run the game that message comes up but I jus click ignore & them game loads. On the first scene wheres the some guy kickin a ball in some passage way, it looks similar to the "polaroid" settings on a digital camera, but after that everything shows quite clear to me.

The problem is related to your memory.

This is something which has greatly troubled me.

I am running Vista 64 bit with 4gb ram and 8800gtx and I was getting the same error message that my PC was not powerful enough.

The reason is that if you have over a certain amount of RAM Pro Evo just doesn't like it - I dont know why.

What you have to do is either physically remove some RAM or (like I do) go into msconfigs advanced settings. Start>Run>msconfig>Boot>advanced options. Then change the memory maximum to a maximum of 3000.

You will need to restart your PC but this will do the trick.

I believe your graphics card is powerful enough to run PES 2008.
I’m using PES 2008 on an ACER ASPIRE 3682 laptop with 512mb ram.
PES installed without a problem however I can run it only on the lowest sittings.
When I load PES; I get the same message which you get, I click ignore and the game loads ok
PES 2008 plays ok on my PC and slow down is very rare.
If you look at the specs of my laptop, you will see that I have the same range of graphics card as you do. However I’m using XP PRO SP2.

I have you tried running PES in compatibility mode?
Vista has the ability to run applications in XP mode.
