PES 2009 (For PC only) Patch Problems

Hey everybody sorry to interrupt your Thursday afternoon but got a question relating around PES 2009 Editing for the PC. I want to install a "Patch" something along these lines would be nice - (also bear in mind im new to all this)

this link shows many fantastic patches for the PC version, just a reminder we are talking about the "PC" version here not xbox360 and ps3. Anyway I downloaded the evolution patch and also upgraded my PES 2009 to v1.2 using download through system settings. I cannot install kitserver however. I followed the instructions up to point 6, installing kitserver. I downloaded kitserver and click setup but it wont read my game and im like ...why?

Also do I even need kitserver to run this, the installation instructions i feel are pretty poor after point 5.

Are there any other ways I can install a PES 2009 patch without kitserver and is there anyone kind enough to explain , slow step by step how to correctly install this kit to a computer. Thanks so much

my international patch is just terrific love it and a classic el grande patch also amazing however i wana know something

s there anyone who can make and help me insert boots, faces and kits and create kits using kitserver?

insert boot, ballpack and faces is easy.. but kits and create kit to me is tough.. coz i`m also still learning this thing

to insert faces... u juz copy the faces (faces and hair) and go to the C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\kitserver\img\cv06.img... then paste there.. then relink the faces using pes 2009 editor... it`s easy... for safety... use the free/unusing number for ur faces

for boots... jus go the same folder you copy just now cv06img...
u will see the file Lailage_7801, Lailage_7802... the number 7801 is refer to first boot on the pes2009 game.. and so on until 7816...it has 16 boots.. so managed it well... (just rename the boot u want to insert to Lailage_7801 or 7802...7816)

sory dude.. ok.. in pes editor, click open.. my document/konami/pes2009/save... then chose pes2009_edit01..

then it apperar the list of all player in pes2009, then chose the player u want to edit...
for example.. walcott(arsenal)
u click on the name.. the deatil will appear on the right..
see the player info... below the id is the detail about how to edit the player...

id: 33700
Face: special
Slots: 1006/4598

ok, here it start.. each time u want to edit the player faces.. makes sure u set it SPECIAL...

on the slots, the 1006 stand for faces, and 4598 stand for hair..

ok, now... to give wallcot a new faces.. go to the new faces u get.. changed the name a bit... for example.. walcott_1006

make sure u put it 1006 at the back , as so it will recognize as the faces, and easy to to remember.. same as the hair.. rename the file u want to use as .. walcott_4598

ok then.. after that copy it to cv06.img

then go back to pes editor, double click on walcott..
a window will appear..

on the right, there are skin,faces,hair section

skin:no change
texture: no change
mode: special
faces: 1006
hair: 4598

u click the relink button..

then there will appear a lot of slot of faces and hair..

if the slot has no name, mean it is empty.. mybe if you want to edit a player who never had a special faces.. u can use the slot.. by rename it to the any empty faces or hair.. same as u do walcott.. change the file name with the slot number at the back..

ok now back to editng walcott.. go find 1006 slot... there u see the hair slot is also together with the faces slot..

click on the 1006 slot, then click use.. the click accept..
then go back to previous window (pes editor main window).. go to file...
then click save..
done..
close the pes editor.. and play with the new faces.. make sure to save each time u edit the player..

Theres good news and little bad news. Ok I tried it on Middlesborough striker Aliadiere and he came in as named

unamed_2040 and hair slot was unamed_5632

so i cut him into the cv06.img file and then went into my editor. I then relinked him via special face mode on slot 2040 and hair slot also.

I went into my game and viola - it was him

Then i decided to try Kallio the Fulham side back, he didnt go in right, he was named

i simply could not find Kallio's face-slot? it was 2628. But i checked the editor's face-slots go from 727 to 2226, but Kallio's is 2628 :O so how does that work

His hairslot was also taken by Lincoln.

I'd prefer not to take over slots were players are like already takeing them, I'd like to take the free ones and also what happens in the Kallio case were I cant find the slot??

ok.. just clikck on the relink button in pes editor...

down there, beside USE and CLOSE button, u tick the free faces box..

u scroll down.. until u see no name on the player name slot...

u can use it.. its free..

I have now also put in Kitson, Mark Noble, Sahko and Niang of Marseille all went fine. Thanks for helpful instructions. Im very grateful

I have 2 patches, one is the All National Patch which I use for International soon, its terrific, it has 204 national teams, it uses a folder very similar to kitserver, i think its called antserver, it also has it own cv06.img folder and so I can also use it now to add more faces to my International Patch

I have a problem with this patch tho. My brother pointed it out, I think you were telling me about it earlier, the boots are the problem. Dont get me wrong there good but theres no black ones. How do I change the boots if I have a bootpack?

i`m glad u made it... now we alll can play a fantastic pes 2009... i hope that the upcoming pes2010 will be much greater...

for the adding own mp3... i really dont know.. because i prefer more to play beautiful pes2009..

but u may found the way.. by read the thread post here... coz i have seen someone ask or post the thread before... if not mistaken its was last month post... about adding own mp3 to the game...

Yea they run off different folders so you just load the national patch off a desktop icon and no clubs
