Fair enough, but I like my current situation...plus games consoles are expensive (good up-to-date ones tend to be at least £150-£200), so maybe after the recession's done...

Yea thats kool.... But before you go gung-ho... Last years PES was pretty shocking compared to its predecessers and this years don't seem to be much better at the mo... So your probaby beter off than the rest of us mugs that have forked out hundreds for a game that don't even use the full potential of the console. Mind you, the graphics are pretty fuckin wicked. But thats about it.

Cheers for the advice mate - I'm not too bothered about graphics (and my PC's pretty good on that front anyway), so I think I'll wait a couple more years before I go for a console, unless Konami suddenly stop releasing PC PES games.

I can say with some accuracy, that double tapping R2 does some crazy dribles... depending on the situation...

I had Tevez do a half marselleise, and Torres do "something" hard to describe... he did a marselleise, and while doing it chipped the ball over Puyol...

Gotta experiment with it a little more...

I'm confused.. is the "Drag Back" in PES09 -or- not??

I've read a couple of times that the Drag Back was Not in the game.. Can someone confirm this??

The pull back can be done with the left stick and not just with the d-pad, but it takes practice and is gonna hard becasue you have to barely flick the L3 joystick twice to pull it off.

I loved the pull back when it was easier, holding R2 and just pulling back, messed with my opponents sooo much!

Maybe im going to have to switch to d-pad. :(

It's going to hard to perform the roulette turn with the d-pad.

The new tricks system is awful.

I don't understand why the developers think they should change as many things as possible to produce a good game.

As I said in an other post ,
After u stop the ball with R2 or R1.. make a shot or long pass Cancel ( Square+X or Circle + X ) by pushing the left stick to a 90 degree direction.. See what happens, great animation..

Example: when u attacking from left to right stop the ball and than make a "cancel shot" by pushing the left stick directly upwords.. see how it works and how efficent this move can be..

Or stick either a 360 or PS2 pad into his PC which will most likely run the game as smooth as it possibly can be run.....smoother than on console!

you are very restricted with ways to take people on in this game, it always ends up being step overs and dummies unless you have r10, even messi cant do half of the moves on the game.

some moves the vid misses are the flick between your legs where you press r1 and 90degrees with players such as henry r10 and fat ron. they dont mention the stepovers performed by tapping l1 or a single one by tapping r2

they dont mention the nutmeg which is performed by doing the drag back and then pressing forwards and he will try to tap it through the players legs, it rarely works but if it does the defender goes into an animation.

thats it, so when it comes to ML and i dont buy the megastars as its too easy with them , i can only effectivley take people on with dummys and stepovers, one on one with a defender soon becomes boring when your just turning from side to side.

i have several guys with dribbling above 90 who carnt even do the roulette

oh and for the guy who asked for others who do the 'tevez' roulette heres the ones ive found. (why the hell is it the tevez roulette)
