PES 2009-PS3-US Version 1.20-Updated File like Von Option

Can someone (preferably the creators of the Von option file if they have a US Copy of PES for PS3) create a file like this? The work in that file is stunning and obviously took some time and hard-work. There are plenty of US PES players and this really improves the game for anyone who's die-hard about maintaining rosters, current player form, looks etc. The creator would be a god in our eyes. I've personally played the PS3 UK version here in the states the past two years and I'm finding the lack of a PS3 US option file of this quality to be quite sad. I only wish I had the time to do the work myself, but hopefully someone out there has the time and skills. Please echo my call if this person is not you, but you also want this file.

I'm a Brit in the US, and i have to agree, we lagged way behind last year due to the conversion issues (which happened for 2008) i'm hoping we can just use European option files this year but i've not heard anything on it yet. Would love a N.American option file to finally get Cisse and Malbranque in the Sunderland team !!

yea sorry my option file did no transfers not gonna waste my time doing transfers as i fully expect the update 1.20 to be coming to the US

my apologies... the game just arrived yesterday and I quickly installed the update to get to the gaming. I thought I saw it as 1.20 but perhaps it was 1.10. Do you plan to complete all the other updates after 1.20 comes out or should we keep crying for someone else to take up the reins at that point?

Thanks for the work you put into the file so far anyway! I'd still love to hear from any and everyone else who may know of other US files in progress (even if after the 1.20 patch is released)

i mean what more would there be to do after 1.20? 1.20 takes care of the transfers im sure they may be a few missing players but thats about it

I also use the American version and I have only been able to find one OF ...I would really love to do it myself...but I really do not have the skills to do a good one

Here's everything done in the VON (UK) option file:


-All English and international transfers 100% complete

-All correct player names (including a lot of player name/back of shirt name fixes)

-All Prem and La Liga badges and kits (Including home, away, goalkeeper, name and number markings)

-Added missing players

-Added Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen to the game in place of PES United and WE United

-All national team kits done with badges, kit sponsers and name and number markings

-All correct Prem, Ligue One, Serie A, La Liga and some other (Zenit, Sporting, Benfica, Ajax, PSV, Fenerbahce and more) player numbers

-All League and Stadium names corrected (Note: For the 'fake' stadiums, I renamed them after stadiums they resemble. Also, Master League's league names have been changed to England League, La Liga, Serie A and UEFA European Superliga. This is down to how I play my Master League. Remember to change those league names to suit how you set up your Master League)

-Fake/duplicate national team players removed

-Hundreds of appearance (builds and scans) accessory/boots/hairstyle changes

-Full Prem, Old Firm and England national team chants

-V1.20 compatible (including 3rd kits in Champions League, 100's of players added to the game, new boots etc)

-Added Eidur Gudjohnsen (Barca) Maniche (Atletico Madrid) Ronaldo (Unbelonging/created) Nicky Shorey (Aston Villa) Fabio, Rafael (Manchester United) Mustapha Riga (Bolton) Robbie Fowler (Blackburn) and Danny (Zenit) (Stats modified from Football Manager 08)

-Added Stoke, Newcastle, Portsmouth, West Brom, West Ham and Fulham away goalkeeper kits to complete England League kits

-Added Wales international home and goalkeeper kits (No away kit done due to it not being released yet so I don’t know what it looks like)

-Updated missing transfers (Albert Baning - Grenoble and Leyti N'Diaye - Marseille, release Jaidi)

- Added all missing international kits (Chile, Hungary, Costa Rica, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Ecuador, Poland, Peru, Israel, Ukraine and Thailand) Every club and international team in the game now has a fully licensed kit

- Added new West Ham away kit, modified Chelsea and Spurs GK kits and tweaked Everton kit logos

- Fixed remaining incorrect international names. Replaced a lot of created players with unlocked versions. Also unlocked most currently active hidden players including Bundesliga players

I agree. Yours rules man. That work isn't quick. I'd just like to see if there is anyone (or any group of people) that would like to take your work or perhaps their own similar work and get it up to the level of the VON OF file. I think most people want the most authentic experience possible, which includes having everything as close to real life as possible like they've done. Again thanks for what you've done as well.

I think most people want the most authentic experience possible, which includes having everything as close to real life as possible like they've done. Again thanks for what you've done as well.

If you wanna start something like that than lets get it underway I'd be glad to help

Possibly split up the work by league, or by specialty say if one person is a great face/kit importer, while another is a semi-pro statistitian in the know of every team and league, while yet another person tackles details of uniforms, hair, etc. Again one person who happens to have time do it all is still the best route, but short of that, at least getting the end product somehow is what matters. Might take a while, but the longer you wait to start, the longer you go with out it... Anyways this should wait until 1.20 is released and then work from there...

Yeah who knows when the patch will come out tho? I mean have they even uploaded the demo to the US PSN? Like I said if your serious about getting something underway than I'm in. Btw Gascoigne USA, what did you add to your OF that mrgametight's did not have just curious...

Well tbh the PAL version was identical to the NTSC upon release. What makes it great is how the community there has created countless OF's to improve the game. We can do the same here and it may not be as great but thanks to the work mrgamtight has done so far I no longer have to play as "North London". With some dedication we can collectively make a great OF

see its all people talking about how it sucks we dont have a decent option file but no one willing to step up and do the work thats the thing...everyone wants something better but lets face it i released a base option file the day after release and finished la liga kits by the weekend...and since then no one has done anything else or taken it further? what are they waiting for....
