has anyone got any tips on passing as i seem to concede cheap goals online due to poor passing?

most teams have at least one good passer. use him to pass to the attackers and keep it simple with the rest. through balls by crap players get overhit a lot so use direct passes. last thing to do is pass after you've beat first player. i.e chest, turn then pass

Just after making a pass, tap R2 to "wake up" the player who will receive the ball. Normally the passes get better with this.
But take care because it also makes the player who passes to run in direction of the goal.

just pass to the open player your opponent will chase after the ball hence freeing another player on your team and pass to the open player :)
