Mods must be out to get me.:ninja:

If you accidentally make the same post twice, you can edit the second one and write something like "please delete this post". The mods will let you off and you'll get away without getting a yellow card.

"WENB Edit Mode News

First of all lets discuss Kits. Like in PES 2009, you have 81 different templates with 4 different layers. While its the same, Konami have updated the templates to accommodate 09/10 designs. So, the new umbro (Everton) and puma designs (Tottenham Hotspur) are easily made.

Another good thing is that the ‘home made’ kits really hold up against the licensed ones. I managed to make the Everton kits for example, and they look as good as the real thing.

Staying with teams, there is now the possibility to have 8 different chants per team! 5 from normal, gameplay moments AND 3 for specific occasions - After you score, taking set-pieces, and after a victory.

Onto player editing. You now, as you are aware of I’m sure, are able to untuck and tuck in shirts. There’s also the return of 4 dribbling animations, the same as the PS2 ones with the next-gen sheen. Unfortunately, you still can’t edit facial hair on players already in the game.

Onto boots.

Right now the boots in the game are as follows:

Adidas Predator Swerve X-TRX SG White
Adidas Predator Swerve X-TRX SG Black
F50 Tunit Blue
Adidas Adipure Black
Nike CTR360 Maestri FG Black/Red
Mecurial Vapor Superfly Orion Blue
T90 Laser Silver/Black/Red
Tiempo Legend FG White/ Blue
Puma V1.08 White/Blue
Puma V-konstruct III White/Blue
Umbro Speciali Black

Then you have 13 slots of random boots, giving us a total of 24 boots. No editable boots then, but I’m very confident the 13 slots will represent them.

Thats all I have right now. Seeing as the code is 75% complete, I’m sure there will be a few more additions to edit mode before release."

In other words, the edit mode pretty much remains the same, with some limitations that the PS2 didn't have... that's so not cool.

PESFan: "There’s also the return of 4 dribbling animations, the same as the PS2 ones with the next-gen sheen"

Who are they kidding, the "4 dribbling animations" have been in the game since PES08. PESFan are full of shite, and clearly do not take their fans seriously.

I would be thrilled if Konami actually did something NEW,

Like for example, divide movement into 5 types of Lower Body Movement and 5 types of Upper Body Movements. So that we can have a potential 25 variations in movements, instead of just 5 variations.

Or if not, Konami could have simply expanded on the old 4 dribbling animations... maybe add some additional 3 dribbling animations.

Now that would be something news-worthy. But so far, the PS3 edit mode sounds like more of the same. It's not even disappointing anymore.

PESFan: "Onto player editing. You now, as you are aware of I’m sure, are able to untuck and tuck in shirts. Unfortunately, you still can’t edit facial hair on players already in the game."

So, we get something we already had back in the PS2 versions -but- we cannot even edit facial hair on players already in the game. That's great... even more so when we consider that Konami have also removed the old "preset faces".

Player Editing has gone to shit since going Next Gen. Now, the only viable option when creating players is with the printed faces or built faces, faces that always end up looking bad and extremely generic.

And what about the old Special Hairstyles, were you could find Classic Hairstyles such as Baggio's trademark ponytail and Valderrama's trademark afro, etc, etc.

I think it's unexplainable, even shocking, that the PS3 games don't have all this old features. And in fact have less features, and have even replaced useful "old" features with useless "new" ones.

Bottom Line is, that for every improvement -they- remove some older features. In other words, it's not really an improvement.

Yeh PESFAN and WENB are a big joke. They are in KONAMIS pocket...

The only people you should trust is SUFF ( who is from WENB but he very honest ) and CANNIGIA.

Both have siad the game is very good now. Coming from those two, thats a huge plus.

About the edit mode: I thought PES2009 had very solid edit mode.

I'm all about gameplay though, so everything else ( CL, EL, EDIT MODE, ONLINE, etc. ) is a huge bonus for me.

Yeah, but I mainly use the Edit Mode to create players... and in that particular area PES09 failed, no preset faces, you cannot change facial hair on faces already in the game, no special hairstyles, etc, etc.

Perhaps the Kit editor was good enough, but I cannot understand why the Face editor was actually better in the PS2 games.

It's one of the first things I do, first day I play 2 to 3 hours of the game, perhaps even more... Second day, I go to the editing mode and start looking for Faces and Hairstyles, so that I can create accurate-looking versions of my all-time favorite players.

Maradona, Pele, George Best, Johan Cruyff, Valderrama, etc, etc. I mostly try to play as my all-time XI... but I don't like to play with generic-looking players.

The thing that I have always liked the most about PES are the Player Likenesses, so naturally, I like to play as my favorite players. So the face editor is more than just a "bonus" for me.

Has anyone played UFC where you can add sponsors to your shorts in a certain location and size? Think that would be great for PES shorts so we could add emblem and manufacturer to them. All we need is 2 boxes really and the number!

I just want to add I think it is a bit poo that in this age with the capacity the console hard drives have that the edit mode does not allow us to make any kit we wnat 100% accuratley. I will sitll buy Pro Evo if it plays well but I will be so disappointed if we have no editable gk gloves

Konami really need to take the edit mode to a next gen level as mentioned earlier the four stylesa of running movement have been present since PES 4 you think they would have added another 10 on top of that or maybe done some of the suggestions other players have about editing the movement.

Mods coulds you please move this into the Konami feedback zone I would be eternally greatful.

Cheers

100% Agree with movements! They need to sort their act out with this.

Goalkeeper gloves are (from what I've heard licensed) but not sure whether we can select for each keeper. That would would be sweet though.

Editable GKG and Boots. Not asking much are we?!
