PES 2010 : Gamespeed

You must be playing a different game to me. This is the fastest PES I've ever played by a distance.

Go and play pes4 - that was ridiculously fast

those who voted "faster" obviously never had a BAL player with decent stats. in 2010 as in 2009 once your player gets into the 90's with a few abilities the gamespeed skyrockets and becomes unplayable.

I don't see the point of increasing the gamespeed at all, and I can't understand why there isnt an option to choose between "Slow" "Medium" and "Fast" gamespeed. it would be so damn simple to implement and it would please even the arcade fanbois.

I'm playing on PC at the moment, maybe console version is better.

Try changing resolutions and playing around with v-sync and you'll get completely different results....

4:3 resolutions provide the better response times, and more fluid (faster?) gameplay....

Just played some more ML and i fucking love this game. Initially i hated the game alot but within the last few days i have fallen in love with it. I cant understand people who say its '09 in disguise. Imo it plays incedibly similar to pes 6. Once you start bashing out some long rangers and play a 4-4-2 the matches come to life.

I just had a 0-0 CL game against Utd and they Battered me badly. I had 10 men for 50 mins and it was backs to the wall stuff all the way. Casillias pulled out 3 world class saves. I love this game. Daytime matches look so good and seem to play better.

That info bar at the top is a class act. At first it was just a couple bits of info but now there's tonnes of info. I havnt customised the leagues this year so im interested in how other teams are doing more.

So Konami can't optimise a game the way every single other company can. In fact, Konami CAN optimise games as they've done so in other PC titles, they just can't do it for Pro Evo?

That is sad. Very sad.

I commend you for trying and persevering with it. I've just lost my patience with it all.

Only if your using an average team. Barca vs Brazil is super fast but is still fun. The defences do alot of the slowing down work as they stay in place not allowing you to simply run straight through them.

AC Milan v Bordeaux
Olympiakos v AC Milan
Sparta Prague v AC Milan

I'm with Don and Dragonfly this game is so fast it's a joke, too may PES fanboys who need to see FIFA and how game speed should be.

If they slowed the speed and fixed passing it'd be a great game

i think 2010 is faster than the demo i think but i didnt really play the demo much just to confirm Don sweey are u playing or were u playing the pc version if so then your probaly right as diffrent versions probaly play diffrent to like the ps3.

Pes 10 on ps3 is not way too fast and it's surly not faster than 09. It's not true.
Pes 10 is slightly fast compared to reality, but only slightly.
And also on ps3, there isn't a big difference between fifa 10 speed and pes 10 speed. Ofcourse, fifa on normal speed. The difference is that pes is slightly faster and faster players run faster than in fifa. That's all.

Not only KONAMI struggle with optimizing games for widescreen, infact you will see across the board that widescreen setting is ALWAYS less responsive than 4:3 setting on any game.
Hence why hardcore, competitive gamers swear to 4:3.

Clearly you got a satisfying spec on your (probably) piece of crap computer that allows for satisfying game speed.
On my computer the game is way faster than any other PES in history, and I don't have time to react before 1-3 defenders have taken the ball away from me.

The main problem is that PES is made for console, XBOX360 mainly, and game speed is fine on console because all XBOX360 has more or less the same spec and the game is optimized to work with it.
PS3 got a bit of gamespeed issues, but nothing major because the PS3 only got slightly better specs than XBOX360.
On PC, however, KONAMI have forgotten to take into consideration that I, and many others, have a state of the art quad core 3ghz, several gigs of ram and a beauty of a GFX card that displays the nicely done games so fine that you feel like you're watching a HD movie rather than playing a game.

I expect a a hotfix for this in the next PC patch, or else I'm tempted to go Bin Laden on KONAMI HQ because it's a fatal, gamebreaking mistake.

Pes 6 was too fast, pes 2009 was about right and this one is slighty slower than pes 2009 but with faster passing.

I don't know if pes 6 was 2 fast because I played it on a widescreen when I think it should of been played in 4:3. Maybe.

On my PC the running is so fast that I can't react to players closing in, it's like watching a PES2009 match in 1.5X game speed.

Besides, the PS3 is faster than XBOX360, and once you've tried that version you'd wish PS3 was the same tbh.
