^The x360 and ps3 versions are totally the same. I have both consoles. ;)
I didn't notice any.

and yet you still utter your opinion about the gamespeed on PC?
Besides, the PS3 is faster than XBOX360, and once you've tried that version you'd wish PS3 was the same tbh.

No I didn't. I never mentioned the speed of the PC version. The guy who made the thread didn't mention he was talking about the PC version either.

I assumed all versions were the same and it was a general speed disscusion. Thats why I thought it was strange some people were saying this game is a lot faster than 2009.

Your post wasn't even there when I started mine. I must have spent more than 10 minutes from starting it to sending it.

OMG this is getting to much now you really haven't played any of the earlier PES series have you..... anyway the game has a nice flow & speed on PS3.

I think some people are having trouble configuring the game on there PCs though:w00t

I think it's faster (ps3) Feels that way though.. Not remarkably fast, but still a bit faster than the demo, which i like..

I've played EVERY SINGLE PES GAME RELEASED ON PC - I'm tired of people ignoring that so take your closed mind elsewhere. You've not even played it on PC and yet comment on its performance. You absolute idiot.

If a new game these days is going to force me to play in a resolution other than 1680x1050 just so that it doesn't suffer from speed issues it does not deserve my playing time.

Have those of us passing comment on something we have no clue about all understood that now? If not, don't reply to me.

You think I've got a problem configuring a game on my PC when I use them all day every day and have gamed on them for 18 years? Seriously, stop trolling. And that is what you're doing because you ignored other posts supporting me in this thread, including these from today:

Clearly you got a satisfying spec on your (probably) piece of crap computer that allows for satisfying game speed.
On my computer the game is way faster than any other PES in history, and I don't have time to react before 1-3 defenders have taken the ball away from me.

The main problem is that PES is made for console, XBOX360 mainly, and game speed is fine on console because all XBOX360 has more or less the same spec and the game is optimized to work with it.
PS3 got a bit of gamespeed issues, but nothing major because the PS3 only got slightly better specs than XBOX360.
On PC, however, KONAMI have forgotten to take into consideration that I, and many others, have a state of the art quad core 3ghz, several gigs of ram and a beauty of a GFX card that displays the nicely done games so fine that you feel like you're watching a HD movie rather than playing a game.

I expect a a hotfix for this in the next PC patch, or else I'm tempted to go Bin Laden on KONAMI HQ because it's a fatal, gamebreaking mistake.

On my PC the running is so fast that I can't react to players closing in, it's like watching a PES2009 match in 1.5X game speed.

I fail to see why you quoted me and replied this... I did not disagree with you one bit, infact I am pointing out the same issues you have because I experience them myself...

EDIT: I've played around with nVidia settings and found some nice results.
I override almost every setting and put it on max (x16 anisotropic, and x16Q anti aliasing etc.) but if you put the maximum of pre rendered frames to 0, you get rid of the "running in tar" effect. Even on widescreen. (1920x1080)
Gamespeed is still a bit on the fast side, but playable now at least :) (around 10-15% faster than my XBOX version...)

No, I was saying to SuperBees - and others who have tried to make fun of my claims - that you are one of a few others who are supporting my claims through your own experiences :>

Sorry, I'll restructure the order of the past to make it more obvious.

Incredible you have to do all that just to slow the thing down.

I think i found a good solution.

I have managed to slow the game down to a manageable level without taking performance hits of any notable kind.

I downloaded FPS Limiter from here http://www.caveofdistraction.com

Copied all the files into my PES2010 directory and made a batch file looking like this:

@echo off
FPS_Limiter /r:OGL /f:60 /x:OFF /l:OFF c:\user\games\pes2010\pes2010.exe
pause

I run pes2010 in Open GL in other words, no lag issues and smooth GFX thanks to the L.O.D tool for kitserver.

PS. I never thought buying a too good computer would ever become a problem... before I limited the FPS to 60 i was around 90 FPS, hence why the game was too fast.

EDIT: if you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 just put XP compability on FPS Limiter and Run as Administrator.
This also works with DirectX10 and x64 bit systems.

Well you obviously are having trouble configuring it on your PC.
why dont you take some advice from the people trying to help you rather then ranting about it all the time & also stop making out this speed problem is across the board because it does not exist on PS3/Xbox360 its a problem which is exclusive to PC. Honestly stop behaving like a child i am not trolling i am exposing you for your Blind hate towards PES 2010 which is clearly a good game this year.

Do you even understand PCs? Some of what Sabatasso has had to test ran the very real risk of ruining every other game he played on his PC. A game should only need to be configured through its own configuration program - Konami's Settings application for PES and it can't be which is unacceptable on the platform and for that reason Konami deserve every fucking word of my posts.

You cannot for a moment understand how games configurations are supposed to work on PC. You are not meant to change settings which will have hugely adverse effects on other games and then need to change those global settings again to play something else. Each game should be fully configurable in isolation. Anything else is completely unacceptable and forcing users to download a program to limit the performance of their machines is something we last had to do when trying to play old DOS games from the 1990s in Windows 98 and later because programmers hadn't taken into account divide overflow errors. Know what those are? So we're having to go back to the days of a company being unable to limit the speed of a game even though they've done it for the last SIX games they've released in this series on PC.

I have never claimed anything on the PS3 and 360 versions as I've not played them. You are the one trying to make comments across the board. You're a fucking moron and if you reply to me trying again to claim things you know nothing about I'll make sure you leave for a while.

You've made no attempt whatsoever to understand the wider issue on PC, you are simply trolling.

Good im glad you finally concede you have not tried the console versions of the game which do not suffer from this speed issues you suffer from on the PC. believe it or not i would be as upset as you if the PS3 version played at an unrealistic speed & i can feel your pain and frustration. But to threaten to give me a long ban for making reasonable points just once again shows your childish & unprofessional mentality in moderating this site:realmad:

At what point did I EVER claim to have touched the console versions??! I've constantly said my posts are about the PC version. You can have a ban for trying to incite an argument when not even reading my posts - clear from the fact you hadn't noticed I've been talking about nothing but the PC version - trolling and for insulting me without reason. Your posts over the last two weeks have been nothing short of pathetic.

Didn't play the demo, so I haven't voted - but if you play with top teams, the gamespeed is unreal, so damn quick. The speed passes go, the speed of dribbling, and most irritatingly of all, the speed of player animations.

I am comparing this to a) FIFA10, b) previous PS3 versions of PES (been so long since I played it on the PS2) and most importantly c) real football.

ive played some really slow games and some really fast ones, its just how you manage your game settings, if you play with players far from each other thats "offense style" slider around 20 and "player support" slider to 99 the game will be faster because there will be more free space to make runs therefore the game becomes faster, but if you play down the middle the game gets slower since theres less space to run and you have to make more quick passes

fasters to slowest: pes4, pes2009, pes2008, pes6, pes2010, pes5

pes 5 being the perfect speed

You must be playing a different game to me. This is the fastest PES I've ever played by a distance.

u must be so lucky to run with players like ronaldo and messi and youve got alot of time and space. i have bought lennon in master league 4 utd and yes, when given alot of room, he can just cut inside from the halfway line and explode through the middle of the park and score. i have only done this twice, that is why i am saying you must be lucky to make enough space if you think the game is fast. play with alower rated team if that is the case and feel the difference. or better still, play a match on PES08 and feel a bigger difference, because i have, and the difference is much bigger than you think ;)

PES 2010 seems to be quicker than previous versions to me, though thankfully still not as fast as FIFA

the new kitserver got a nice tool to alter gamespeed.
you dont need any additional content to be installed with the kitserver to make it work.
