PES 2010 has already lost me

Yeh i think they do. Would like to the number of copies sold for both games. probably on the internet somewhere.

Fifa 10 was not good, I gave it a good shot the last few days and it's flaws are the same as the PES2010 demo has.
The game is choppy, movement is not "flowing" and to me right now, PES2009 despite it's flaws is the best footy game ever released (except Emlyn Hughes Int. soccer on C64 ofcourse, wich was miles ahead everyone when it released)
Graphics means nothing to me, unless it's butt ugly but even then good gameplay can make up for it.
If Konami correct the flow of the game to be like pes2009, just a little bit slower (to make it seem more real) then everything will be good, but i suspect that choppy movement and flashy dribbles is the flava of the year and both FIFA and PES is suffering badly from it.

PES 2009 can be good at times but the scripting literally makes me yell at the tv. Slide tackling in the box is a risk I should take myself not the computer but I digress 
It was a definite improvement over 2008 and without a doubt 2010 will be a huge improvement over 09.

Ineed this is the reason why 99 out of the 100 threads about this same topic are useless. Its like saying that your mums cooking is shit before you have even tasted it :\
based on the demo's (which are there to entice you to buy) , PES 10 is sh1t and is no where near the quality of FIFA.
I can see why someone would make their mind up before the game is released.
I'm a PC user and downloaded the demo on 9/17.
I'm a huge fan and i couldn't believe how bad the game was. A lot of details went in the wrong direction and it really pissed me off. I felt robbed.
I always played:
1440x900, 16:9 checked, LB unchecked, V-sync ON
BUT......

1440x900, 4:3 checked, LB unchecked, V-syn ON
And I loved the game. Don't know why so much difference. Now it is enjoyable, smooth and better in all senses. Players look fatty, but I don't care... the gameplay went up and that's what is important to me.
Even better, now I know they worked on the GK's AI and the reaction times... so I can't wait for the full game to buy it.
Before the "tweak" I rated the game 5/10 and now I give it 9/10.

Then let me ask you this, what's the point of releasing a demo if it isn't anything like the retail?
The pes2010 demo is what we will get when the game release, probably a few bug fixes and more options ofcourse, but the AI will be basically the same. If it isn't then there isn't really any point in releasing the demo in the first place.
So we have all tasted your moms cooking, even if we haven't eaten the whole meal yet.

Agree with the Argentine above me.. we are all consoling ourselves by downloading the WE demo instead of the PES, but why on earth would anyone release a poor representation of the final product?
For those of you working, do you ever market your inferior product in a tender and then justify it by saying "oh but my final product will definitely deliver more than this". The average gamer who downloads both demos will clearly see a difference in quality.

You do not know what you're talking about for sure.
The pes demo is an old build for sure.
The we demo is much better and that's step 1.
As I said many times small fixes make the difference.
And also you cannot talk because you haven't even tested the 90% build at least. The ones who did, said that the pes demo feels really outdated compared to it because everything was much more finished.

I don't care if the code is at 70%... it's the same for me if it is at 50% or 90%... I can asure you the game is gonna be the same thing from the demo with a few changes and fixes. They will not add a real 360º dribbling, and they will not make players movements more fluid. they look like robots and that's it.
I play on a PC so I will buy PES for sure, because on PC is the best football game ever, and it is still enjoyable and fun to play against a friend (I already told you a fix I use to make it more fluid)

First of all, you can't assure anything cause you haven't played the retail version, second of all, I don't know what kind of revolution you were expecting in a little over a year, oh, and what the hell IS "real" 360º degrees?
Do you even know what you want or expect from 360º? Oh and keep in mind, the hardest games to review are sport games, specially PES, since Fifa is good at giving a superficial "wow" factor, but PES goes very deep

Whats the point in worrying ''why konami realesed a poor representation of the game'' all that matters is the WE demo is better than the original PES demo and for sure the real game will be better than them both.
At the end of the day for whatever reason Konami has decided to realese two different demo's, one being a more updated version. Who gives a fuck WHY they did it the fact is they have! It seems you are purposly not buying PES because they realsed two demos and one is a more up to date build?? This seems strange to me.. Shorely you would just want to buy a good game, i dont really care if Konami made 200 different demos as long as the FINAL game is good.

played ''pes'' since ''iss'' days and never looked back. in my opinion people who dont like pes just dont have the intelligence and football knowledge to do so. fifa is like a coin operated arcade game, only fun for 10 minutes...

same here, especially the F..... FIFA part.
anyone with basic football knowledge will always choose PES over FIFA so i will never understand why people say FIFA is better but then again intelligent people have always been in the minority.

pro evo had it, fifas time WAS up..then PES died on the PS3 and fifa came back with more dross. but the dross was better than konamis attempted dross...
