PES 2010 now keeps crashing more and more frequently, 3 seasons in?

Not sure if this has anything to do with patching to KeSoo's patch v0.6 but I used to get the odd crash, now its getting more and more frequent. The crash happens right after playing in a Europa game. I click next (or whatever is the next button), the screen seems to update, and as I'm just about to expect the calendar thing to move one day along, it goes black and I get the useless CTD message, "PES 2010 experienced an unexpected error, please contact microsoft about this".

Yeah right that'll help. I'm sure Bill gates will give it first priority and drop all he's doing to fix up a compatability issue between PES and his XP operating system, LOL.

Anyway, jokes asside, has anyone else noticed this and more importantly, found a "cure"? I could cope with the odd CTD in teh first season or so, but now its becoming so much more frequent I suspect the problem is cancerous.

I've not used a patch or anything similiar but the calendar freezing ailed me for a while, then it suddenly stopped. As for "PES 2010 experienced an unexpected error, please contact microsoft about this" that's something I've not and hope to never experience.

When you say the calendar 'froze' I presume you mean just that and not a CTD. I presume you had to get out of PES by doing a control-alt-delete.

I started a Master League the other day and went to do my Game Plan then all the music stopped and the game just froze. Nothing else just froze.

Any idea's?
