When it comes to games PES 2010 is the high of shit.
The gameplay is the main problem, it's like no matter who you play it's Balcelona in disguise. The ball zips around the pitch for 3/4 of the game, it's unbeleivable and un-realistic. Because of this gameplay all game modes are ruined.
Mater League: This is almost unplayable on top player and proffesional, it seems harder on master league than on exhibation. The team you control seems generaly sloppy in all areas of play. Passing is off, positioning is awful and shooting is laughable(or it would be if the game wasn't so enfuriating). Signing players is another problem, in the first season noone decent if buyable, they just don't want to join your team, no matter who you are, some are understanable, for example i understand not being able to sign Gerrard or Messi, but being Barcelona and not being able to sign Arda Turan for example is NOT understanble.
Become a Legend: This mode isn't bad to start off with but becomes boring, i managed to play the game untill my player was 20, then got bored. I wasn'ty able to move to a good team, even though i was scoring 40-60 goals a season. I guess if you have the patience to continue this mode would be quite good.
Champions League mode: It's a good idea to have this as its own mode but again the gameplay ruins it.
Here's a bullet point list of other porblems
Players speed and dribbling speed: it seems it doesn't mean anything to the computer controlled opposition players, for example lets say Aaron Lennon(99 dribble speed) is running with the ball he could be followed and overtaken by Player A(70 dribble speed).
Shooting: shots always go to the center of the net, and if you aim left, 9 times out of 10 it will go wide or hit the post.
Tackling: oppositions get away with everything that you can't, a nudge on the opposition is a foul. I'm certain if murder was possible in PES 2010 i would be booked for diving.
Penalties: i'm sure you know what i mean.
The only way i have been able to thouroughly enjoy PES 2010 is to be on two player or play agaisnt someone.
Despite these problems i still play PES 2010 and look forward to PES 2011 but if these problems aren't sorted out in PES 2011 i will come to the conclusion that a good football game has yet to be made.
