PES 2011 DLC will be released 12th October

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH today announced the content of its first DLC for PES 2011, which will be available on 12th October.

Available free to PlayStation(R)3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD users, the download will bring the player roster files completely up to date, while clubs that qualified for the UEFA Champions League Group Round, will be added to the game’s dedicated mode. A number of team kits have also been updated in line with their current use, and four more licensed boots have been incorporated.

The DLC also includes three new wallpapers featuring cover star Lionel Messi in the ‘Extra Content’ folder, and KONAMI will be releasing further updates during the coming year.

Thanks for this.

If in install an option file on my PS3 today, will it erase everything i've got/edited on the option file once i download the DLC? or has it changed this year so it don't mess up your editing.

I'm planning to use WENB OF ... but i'm afraid the Konami DLC will ruins everything in it

PS : By the way, Konami have changed The England Jersey into the new one, not the one they used in the disastrous World Cup. It's a Good Thing ^^

Not just me then :p

I'm going to use the option file in my sig. it's amazing. i just want to make sure before i get the option file that it won't erase any teams, players, stats, that's been done. I don't mind updated kit, bucause the teams will be licensed won't they.

probably it will mess up editing in the same way as last time, I think the DLC is applied to the default version of the game therefore it cant take into account certain changes made on individual games, probably emblems and kit editing will be okay, and transfers made now which are real life ones will still be there after the DLC, after all that is the main issue it addresses I assume, the only things affected will be edited players, created players or International rosters in all likelihood, although not 100% sure of course.

depends on how you make the players, for example if you create the players from scratch and register them to the team, that will mean after the DLC is applied that the created players will go back to the original created list and the players who they replaced will go back on the roster i.e. if you overwrite one of the Div 2 teams or someone from the PES league, the rosters will be the same on every game after the DLC is applied but you will still have the team name, emblem and kits intact.

It does beg the question why Konami didn't just release the game a week later with this update already in. Obviously they would avoid the unneccessary flack they get.

errrr Why does every wallpaper have to be Messi ??..i hope they do something about some of the ratings of the players, they have used the same ratings from last year

What players will we lose in the update as i was thinking we could just base copy them to created players so we don't lose players that were in the game before the update like we did in last years version think we need to start a list of players that have moved on to clubs not in the game.

Deco - Chelsea
Henry - Barcelona
Diego - Juventus
Raul - Real Madrid

I am sure there are a lot more and we only have a couple of days before we lose these players.

We have 4 days. WHich is too long considering I'd like to start the Master League NOW! Ah well, I'll just win some cups and maybe the Champions League. Or play FIFA till then.
