I know that some of these have been covered. I just need to rant, because they ruin the game for me. Btw, I play on top player in ML.

1. Defenders catching up to the forward. Yes, I know that forwards should be slower when dribbling the ball. But if someone has a higher speed and dribble speed than the defender, than they should take off. You see this all the time in matches (e.g. Bale destroying Maicon and Inter). Also, the defender always wins the ball when no one has possession and they are both chasing after it. Bullshit.
2. Goalie back passes. So many times, the computer will pass or shoot the ball back to their goalie, and the goalie will pick up the ball.
3. Cheating/random goals. This has been covered extensively in the forums. I'm fine with the AI cheating (means harder difficulty), but random ass goals are unrealistic. In so many occasions, I've seen the AI pull spectacular goals in the 90+ minutes of the game.
4. Slide tackles. I've never seen so many slide tackles in a soccer game. Everyone slide tackles all the time. Probably 20 per game (in a 5 minute game).
4b. Slide tackle passes or shots. The number of random slide tackle shots and slide tackle passes makes the game horrible and unrealistic. Slide tackle shots are fine if you are in the small area of the box, but from outside the box or near the penalty spot? Bullshit.
5. Red cards. Has anyone managed to get a red card? I haven't. No matter how bad the tackle is, even if I am the last man, I get a yellow card, sometimes I won't even get a card.
5b. Fouls. Ref is blind most of the time. So many fouls that aren't called.. and so many slide tackles.
5c. Offsides. The offside rule is all messed up. Sometimes I will shot the ball. It will go off a defender and roll somewhere on the field. Then my forward that was offside will run back to get the ball, and offsides is called. Maybe I don't understand the rule?
6. Unnecessary touches of the ball. Ball goes off AI and is rolling out of bounds. My players sprint towards the ball, try to control it, and it goes out of bounds.
7. Players randomly stopping when on the attack. Always see this, I will play a through ball to one of my forwards, and everyone else just stops. Follow the play!

Anyone else seen this?

yes I see all these issues, what about when you pass the ball to a player and instead of him getting the ball in full stride and running with it he slows down or from a stopped position he accelerates slowly to a full speed before taking off thus allowing the defense to catch up and close the space. U notice this?

but I agree the worst aspect is the defenders catching up, everything else I could live with even the AI pass back, the cards the rest of it but the catch up needs to be fixed with a patch because it really kills the game. It kills the game so much that Im contemplating going back to pes2010

Yes. Pain in the ass. Also, maybe I do this unintentionally, but I notice that every time I pass the ball goes through their legs as a feint before they are about to receive it.

It sucks, because this game can be really really good. I enjoy it, these issues are just annoying and could be easily fixed (because they weren't there in the past).

For example, for the fouls/red cards, it seems Konami took the easy way out. Remember when everyone during the demo was complaining about too many fouls called in the game. The slightest touch or slide tackle would always result in a foul called, even if the player made a play on the ball. To fix this, I think Konami took a shortcut and scaled the whole foul system back (e.g. number of red card fouls, number of yellow card fouls, number of regular fouls), without considering what it would do to serious fouls. If I am last man on the ball and I foul the forward on a clear opportunity on goal, it's a red... I have only received 1 red card the whole time I've been playing.

that offside scenario, that's a legit call....your player is offside and should get called for it!!

Additionally, I've gotten a couple of red cards... and cpu has against me...i think its different from ref to ref

last point..unnecessary touches....that depends on if you're actually good at playing the game...never happened to me...control is magnificent in this game...you have full freedom, thats why when i have the ball with pirlo, its almost impossible to get it off me...very realistic
