pes 2011 has injured my eye??

Been playing it on ML for 2 months bout 4 hours a day and noticed my eye started to hurt i think PES is causing it? my doctor said if i carry on playing i could go blind i really dont know what to do because PES is my life i tried playing it the other day with just the sound and i shut my eyes but i lost 3-1 so i dont think i can play it without my eyes so gutted

I don't think he meant PES is the problem but you watching at the monitor for much too long. It's sad and I hope you won't suffer from even more serious illness. It's like being deaf while ones passion is music but I tell you: Respect your health. It's not worth it for a short lived entertainment like video games...

A question: What kind of monitor do you have? Still CRT? Is the framerate/monitor frequency well enough?
