No fix for the +1 game speed bug then?
The update will be automatically downloaded from 24th November, and adjusts the defender AI to allow for more consistent pressing from various situations and includes a series of alterations based on feedback from users. The difficulty and success rate of Rainbow Flicks has been adjusted to improve gameplay, while throw-ins can now be passed back to the taker. Cursor switching has been generally been improved including situations when the ball is crossed, while the way transfer fees are calculated in Master League has been reworked. Names above CPU players can also now be switched off as they mimic player settings. Shooting has also be tweaked to produce more realistic reactions and results depending on real-time situations.
Will it be save game compatible ?
whats the +1 gamespeed bug ?
There is a power bar for shots, I would like shooting to be a bit more manual to be honest. I think the patch will cut down the amount of unrealistic volleys that happen.
On the 360, if you change your game speed to +1 your players are unable to defend, they become stationary or stutter. It's not overly common, but it has been reported previously. I have deleted the game and started from scratch but I still get the problem.
For me this is a potential crunch moment for Konami. It's great that they are showing genuine signs of monitoring community feedback and, crucially, reacting to it.
No doubt like many others when I read the proposed improvements the recognition of cursor selection and defensive AI issues alone were enough to make this patch more than a token gesture on Konami's part.
But therein lies the rub. People are rightly pissed that these issues were in the game to start with, myslef among them. There's already alot of hyperbole being bandied about on this patch and if Konami don't deliver on what is in reality a promise open to much interpretation, they could be on the recieving end of a nasty backlash.
Don't get me wrong - I'll be lining up with the rest of them on the 24th very eager to test this patch, whether it throws my beloved option file to shit or not. But there's a palpable sense of expectation out there and it may be wiser to lower them before assuming too much.
EA are different, if they list something, you can be sure 95% of it doesnt work, makes no difference, you should see the official forums down there. People have just had enough of that game and the developers/producers are on the run.
nah mate there is NO power bar for shots that bar you get is for the height of your shot not power try it
altho agree about the manual shooting
That's not right. It isn't a power bar. I never use more than the tiniest tap and have still scored plenty of goals from 25/30 yards, all absolute rifles. I score long range goals exactly the same way I score one on ones. There's no connection between how much that bar is filled and how powerful the shot is, just the height (sometimes).
Any news whether the patch will effect existing ML saves?
