I have made sure i am downloading the correct version. Mine is BLES 01020.

Unfortunately I still cannot get the files to appear on my ps3 ! I've downloaded many different versions from different sites all BLES 01020. I've converted the files, unzipped them , changed the names etc. Nothing seems to work. I really don't know where i am going wrong. Maybe i'm just stupid haha but last year was so much easier, it just appeared on my ps3 with the memory stick, which i copied the files direct from my laptop.
I love pro evo but i'm actually thinking of giving up on it this year and switching to something else as i cannot get into it properly without the patch.. its like half of a game because i have no updates or patches at all...
If anyobody could send me a link and a direct step by step guide it would be greatly appreciated because i'm convinced i'm doing everything correct.

Toensure the updates work perfectlyyou first need to download the latest KONAMI patch. To do this load the game, then on the main title screen go to extra content, then data patch. Download the konami patch and then you will be ready to use my update files.
If you don't have your PS3 connected to the internet you can find out how to do this in the PS3 instruction manual.

P.S. If your computer does not already have it ,you may need to download either winzip or winrar (just search google) Only do this if you can't follow steps 5 and on.

1. CLICK ON THIS LINK -

3. CLICK ON THE DOWNLOAD FILE TAB AND WAIT FOR THE 'REGULAR DOWNLOAD' TAB TO APPEAR. CLICK ON THIS AND A SMALL BOX SHOULD OPEN CALLED 'FILE DOWNLOAD'
4. CLICK ON SAVE AND THEN CHOOSE A LOCATION ON YOUR COMPUTER TO SAVE THE DATA TO.

6. RIGHT CLICK ON THIS WITH YOUR MOUSE AND SELECT ‘EXTRACT HERE’

10. INSERT THE USB MEMORY STICK INTO ONE OF THE USB SLOTS ON YOUR PS3
11. ON THE PS3 MAIN MENU SCROLL TO ‘GAME’
12. NOW SELECT ‘SAVED DATA UTILITY’
13. THEN SELECT ‘ USB DEVICE’ (STORAGE DEVICE)’ OR ‘MEMORY STICK’
14. YOU WILL NOW SEE THE PES 2011 EDIT DATA AND 100'sOFIMAGES OF KITS &LOGOS ETC
15. YOU NOW HAVE TO COPY THE EDIT DATA AND ALL OF THESE IMAGES OVER TO YOUR PS3 HARD DRIVE,
16. TO DO THIS, PRESS THE TRIANGLE BUTTON ON YOUR CONTROLLER AND CHOOSE ‘COPY’ YOU NEED TO REPEAT THIS FOR EVERY IMAGE, THIS MAY TAKE A WHILE BUT IT'S WELL WORTH THE EFFORT!
17. ONCE YOU HAVE COPIED THE EDIT DATA AND ALL OF THE IMAGES JUST LOAD THE GAME AND PLAY!
