PES 2012 - Could this be the best football game EVER made ?

Looking at the videos, it looks like Konami are finally starting to listen to the fans, the people that really count. And these videos are looking really good. There were small, annoying things which seem so easy to just not put in the game, yet they seem to be cropping up every year, and yet people still buy the game and find these things annoying and the only thing that drags the game down.
One thing for sure that PES always has is great gameplay, free flowing and smooth, and yet some small niggles needed to be fixed (especially in PES 2010 and 2011. Heres what i think needed to be done

most important change for me is the first touch, which has been a bug in PES for years. they seem to have fixed that so it looks promising.

things they need to change

shooting - seems to have been fixed
referees - time will tell
first touch - seems to have been fixed
penalties - fixed @(thank god)
a.i. - fixed

all looking good, could be the best football game ever this year

And believe me, we could be in for a new leader at the top of the table in PES 2012 - a football game for football fans

Well as I've said before, I really liked PES 2011. So it's more about refinement than overhaul for me. In answer to your question, yes this could easily be the best football game ever.

I have a feelling that this game will be the best football game like we haven`t seen before , based on the videos , but let`s wait for the demo and see if what we saw on the videos was right as what we need , if the full game is the same as what i saw , then PES 2012 will be the best ever .

Don't be too optimistic ... Many pes2012 videos look exactly like pes2011 , same features same pathatic stadia ... Wait at least for the demo and we can judge , even with the demo things can change til the final realese (remeber 2011 demo and final game)

^I won't disagree that we have to play the demo to judge, but even I can clearly see that the AI is much better and that new useful off the ball controls have finally been added. So it isn't like pes 11 because the AI can change the game quite a bit. ;)

I quite like pes2011 so if they're adding some important tweaks things can only be looking up... Can't wait for the demo - any eta for it anyone?

last year the demo was released on Sept. 15. this year as there is no MLO beta testing planned as far as i'm informed it will be far earlier... :D:p

I think it is so early to say about that since we don't get any demo at the moment. If someone say it will be 'the best football game ever' then it is just like trusting 'the best ever' quotes made by stupid journalists for crappy FIFA gimmick in every year release since we know that every FIFA installment is considered 'the best ever' that any competitor would never reach LOL.Sorry for my bad English.

We shouldn't make our judgments on how good the games going to be just yet. I believe that we should wait until we at least play the demo, then we can say whether PES 2012 has glimpses of greatness or whether it's another year of false promises and annoying bugs.

We will see boys and girls........We....Will....See.

There was a lot wrong with pes2011, BUT none of it made it game breaking, it was an improvement from 2010 and the major bugs that were in the game seemed to be ironed out in patches.

Bugs and problems were still there but we lived with it or modded around it, thanks largely from you guys, the fans. And the scripting frustrations and other little bugs we lived with and classed it as "WELL SHIT HAPPENS, I'LL DEAL WITH IT".....well most of us did.

I'm hoping that Konami don't change too much in Pes2012 as Pes2011 seemed pretty solid, fix some annoying bugs, make the refs a little more forgiving in physical play and know when to give advantages or let me take a quick freekick, sort the pace out so speedy attacker can ACTUALLY OUTRUN John Terry at 103 years old, and I'll be happy.

But please for god sake tell me that the commentary is not going to be EXACTLY the same as last year....same pundits and crappy commentary I can deal with but lets hope they have some new garbage to say....If I hear "And the chance accepted!!" or "That's a goal to remember forever!!" when you tap it in from 2 yards...I might lose a few controllers next year.

well pes11 is tha most fun soccer game ive played (since the old good days of winning eleven at least)... so much better than 2009 the last one i owned and unbelievably more fun than fifa11... so many more unique ways to score......... at the same time, i think theres SO much room for improvement,,,, so i really really hope 2012 is awesome and progressive, end....
