First i want to say i'm Indonesian, and my English is'nt good, so please don't be shy to correct or ask for my bad english to clear your understanding with this thread...

ML training in PES 2012..
i realized so many (included here) who veteran on PES2011 ML, getting frusatrated with training system on PES 2012, many of them so frustrated with "weird" player progression in PES2012 ML...

if in PES 2011, we just will keep informed that our player keep progressing after match (mainly who played in that match), but in PES 2012 ML, we don't have NOTHING like super training computer information player who give us VERY detail the progress of our player with each his stats, IN PES 2012 we must keep monitoring it on Squad List..

ENOUGH with chit chat introduction, just let's start the tips with general tips :

FIRST i want you take in your mind about PES2012 ML training system is : in PES 2012 EVERY PLAYERS on your squad will have very good progression as long as you have proper training method for your team, don't matter if he is just bench warmer who just played 1-3 times a season, he will still have good progress, it doesn't matter he is very bright future youngster, or veteran age 32-34 yo, they will keep progressing *i repeat AS LONG AS YOU HAVE PROPER TRAINING METHOD

so in this point, i bet you will have a question mark in your mind like "how i can have proper training method to my team?"

okay, i will start with the basic first :

PES 2012 ML training system divided into 5 trainings : technique, physical, speed, strategy, and last condition :

first i will show you what stats included in technique, physical speed and strategy :

TECHNIQUE stats :

PHYSICAL stats :

SPEED stats :

STRATEGY :
Strategy is important to improve your foretitude, especially your teamworks squad, i keep ignore this training, my squad become so unorganized, like a team without coach, so many mistake in defense, and error passing each other, as i checked, my workrate player each no more than 20, and few of them even just have 6-8 teamwork, now i began train this training gradually my team plays better, i realized more teamwork your player have, his capabaility to receive any difficult pass like tiki taka Barca in the front of goal will increase too

CONDITION :
Basically i assume condition training is to give a rest to your team, so nothing improving stats as they aren't doing any training, ussually i use condition training if my team must face harsh schedule and you didn't have nice 2nd team in your line up (like me), or after many your 1st player in their international duty, condition training will help them to back to their peak performance quickly

okay on this point, i believe you all have some conclusion about what training we will use mainly, yeah..correct, is technique training, with so many stats will improve if you are doing tech training, tech training will improve your Overall Rating players quiet fast :

So i have my training pattern like this :

- 2-3 weeks Technique.
- 1 week physical.
- 1 week speed.
- keep condition training if my team on hard schedule or after international duty or many player in bad condition like blue or purple arrow (so it's very important to check schedule, player condition every weeks).
- 1 week strategy training

IF you want, you can manage 1 week with 2-3 kind training, like 2 days technique, 2 days for physicall/speed, 2 day strategy BUT i think training effect with above method regime have more effect quickly.

I have done this training method oo my freak PES UNITED ML default team, not bad, after 3 season my Shimizu (RMF) now his OR is 92, Ettori(AMF) 85, Camacho(CMF/DMF) he my bench warmer player from youth team around 67 on my recruitment after 3 season now his OR 84.

NOTE :
the pattern above isn't fixed, you may choose your training with your team coondition, sometime team don't like with the training you choosed, like teamwork keep draining because you choose speed training, team condition bad many purple and blue arrow, altough the schedule is not tight, AND MOST IMPORTANT always check your squad developement in squad list (L2 twice) if you find the whole team shows blue bar more than red bar, it means you must try diffrent training ASAP and find your team training want.

And sometime your captain or key player will be warning you if you keep repeat same training over and over.

How on Gods name did you make an old player like Del Piero improve so badly? By this regime or you just moderated the stats. If its the first one, I'll defo try this out

With this regime,
that's Delpiero is a reborn Delpiero after he retired,
he came back as youth player with OR around 81, after with proper training he is progressing with monster speed in just 1 season half he join,
but unfortunately that Delpiero is not my player, i just copy paste the illustration pic from original thread,

i'm starting my ML with PES United default ML players

Thanks for posting which stats each training style affects. I think strategy affects teamwork. A few months without training strategy and all my player had teamwork decreased to 1-20, so I think it has to be trained more than just 2-3 times each season. I still cant figure a good training pattern, just have to change when you see some of the stats go too low. Maybe a good idea would be to reach good stats in most areas (like A in most fields and B in some) and then go on with just condition.

The bad thing about teamwork is that it keeps dropping if you aren't doing anything. Still figuring out how to keep it grows continuously. Looks like it helps if you have strategy effective during match.

Thanks for this! This works really well. Started a ml with wolfsburg and my players are going up already also to do condition before matches and between the maches where you only have two days rest works really well and keeps your players fit. Havent got many purple arrows yet.

Yeah..i realized strategy is important too,
especially if you have just signed new player, ussually his teamworks must be under 20, so you need strategy for improve his teamwork,

FYI teamwork is important with player capability to receive passing, if a player have high teamwork his ability to receive any pass will increase too,

My player graphic are increasing now:D
Although some of them just remain stable
So the fix pattern is 2 tech 1 phisic 1 speed 1 strategy and the condition is up to us whether to give rest or not during those training?

I noticed my teamwork was dropping dramatically and when I went deeper into it I noticed that a lot of my players had massive drops in a lot of stats. The thing that alerted me was that my team was unable to string more than a few passes together, they were passing behind a running player, the defence was falling apart and I wasn't doing anything different in my play style. I started off so well and the team just seemed to get worse over the season.
I didn't read anything about the training and just used 2 days of each in rotation, then 2 days of condition before a match so I had fully fit, in form players to choose from. I would say don't use condition unless you need to, and do a full week (or match to match) in one training discipline.
It's going to take me a while to get a good balance again as all the condition training seems to have dropped a LOT of stats on all my players.
Lesson learned, and I think my first season in the premier league is going to be a tough one.

Ok i have been playing PES ML since release and after my first season i gave up with the training regime and just left it on condition. None of my stats fell in fact every young player still improved 2-4 OVR points each season. Last week i was told about this method by somebody else and i thought i would give it a try. It appeared to be working but in January i noticed some problems. I started looking for tips online and it lead me here.

Here is the problem with this technique.

Even though the OVR of the players gos up dramatically some stats do not improve much at all and in some cases get worse. Only the technique stats improve and there are many stats in this group thus improving the OVR. Important stats like pace, kicking power and body balance give way to pass accuracy ect.
I am playing with defualts and one example of many is Irjescu DFM starts out as 61ovr. By the end of season 2, training set to condition every day, he was at 68ovr kicking power 85. After half a season of this method his OVR shot up to 73, 5 points in just half a season, and he had much better passing stats but his shot power dropped 3 points to 82 and so did all players in my team.

If you are willing to sacrifice important stats like shooting power, pace, STAMINA and body balance(my defenders were the only players not to improve) for the sake of OVR then this works but i don't think it is a balanced regime.

I think the only balanced regime is condition as all players stats steadily improve. I think the training was designed for the player to have to chose between speed, strength and technique ALWAYS sacrificing some stats for others. Just look at ML online it lets you chose what "style" you want ur team to be.

Basicaly Konami messed up training bad this year, such a shame as last year's focus points were perfect!

You know what would have made this useable? Individual training, just one of the many excellent features to dissapear as the series gets older and (for me) worse each year. Could you imagine if next years had individual training, new possition/skill card training and many other non training features like effective 2 player free kick shots, under the wall free kicks, shooting that doesn't go straight at the keeper even if you direct it, swap deals, defenders that dont know what you are going to do before you know, mix and match kit parts, away keeper kits, and all the other great features that have been dropped from past PES games?

I am sorry to rant and stray a bit off topic but it just seems that every time I start to get going with this game, something else just makes me loathe it again. I started to play with training and players like Del Piero (regen) went up by about 5 points, and a few of the old guard like Iniesta and Abate drew themselves off of thier downwards curve for a short while, but Pique dropped 3 ovr points in a season, hummels dropped a point, Sutto who is 20 and develops at a steady pace (apparently) dropped 2 and Kmou who is the same as Sutto dropped 5.

Throw in the increased amount of scripting, and it all adds up to (again, for me) the single most worst PES they have ever made.

I acted a total geek and ended up checking how the graphics on increase and decrease work.
1 set of physical training is reduced by exactly 2 sets of technique.
1 set of technique by exactly 2 sets of speed
1 set of speed by exactly 2 sets of physical
Strategy can take up to 6 training before it decreases 1 point.
Condition training seems pointless cause still end up having players in blue.

So mathematically speaking 2 of each and 1 of strategy should do loads of good to ur players rating. But nothing like this happens!!

Also, I tried to sim my season based on strategy training only and found that the stat will increase by 1 or 2 points and will remain like this for the complete season and that is because of the young players who are developing and will gain on Teamwork stats or the new joinings in your team who will rise back to their level of teamwork.

(Has anybody noticed or is it just me who feels that latest version (4.0) has worsened player improvement?)

Uhm..first is how do i get all my ML training regime goes up?
How do i do it? I'd always had the tactics point low!
How can i get all up to A,B points like Offense,Defense, Tactics,Speed,Tec,Physical?

Second is Could i move or switch to another club after finish with my first ML club? Like rite now I'm on a Lyon (ligue 1) D2 League! If i finish with Lyon and get it to Ligue 1 then could i move to another club? Like Arsenal???
