PES 2012 v FIFA 12

So much negativity about pes this year...it sounds like the game is crap and not worth getting...this could be the first year since ISS that i don't buy the game....what a let down

There´s always tons of negativity on every games forum around the release date. I know many people avoid forums like this one only because of this. Just check out other forums, most of them are filled with negativity even though the game is considered to be great.

Cheers. Yes I have played the game and in my opinion it beats Pes 5 and 6, I´m not going to over analyze it as I´m only a modern casual gamer who plays for 3 hours a week.

PES 2012 is phenomenally good.

Sure thier are many annoying flaws and speaking for myself at least, the game is a sure fire route to self induced rage/panic attacks...But PES 2012 (2 player offline) is a cracking effort by Konami and easily the best video footie experience to date.

Sure, all these cocksucker reviewers rant on about FIFA being bascially superior in all departments, but when you look at how the AI works in FIFA, it soon becomes clear that FIFA is nothing more than a souped up High Tech PES 4 (every goal is a cut back if you want it to be), in PES 2012 on the otherhand the player movement is top notch making for exciting and tense encounters, where goals can come from just about anywhere.

The big issue is defending but when you learn the new approach (focus on strategic/positional defending is the way both games are going) a lot of the frustrations soon fade away (unless you are playing against the motherfucking cheating son of a bitch AI on Top Player).

Saw a review where the reviewrs had no clue on how to play the game. They didnt even make the off the ball player run they just activated him. It shows that you cannot trust these biased kids.

Who cares about outdated rosters? Its all about gameplay and this PES is the best. The reviewers dont give this game the crdeit it deserves.

Outdated rosters haha you can DL an OF or patch the game.

Its the product in its entirety that they judge and if PES refused to update the rosters .(which Fifa did) why would anyone give them a good rating.

PES!!!! Played FIFA today.....really? This is a football game? What a crock of shite! The gameplay sucks and you can't edit anything! The graphics are so bright i needed a pain killer....never again. C'mon next friday!!!
