Pes 2013, crosses - headers improvements in patches?

Hello,

Just thought to quickly ask. Has there been improvement regarding usefulness of crosses / headers as shot towards goal in PES2013 patches?

I'm still running 1.01 patch as I begun my ML with it and haven't patched as I've wanted to continue my game without messing the leagues.

Sometimes I'm incredibly frustrated though as strikers really love to miss a ball when they have a good chance to head it.

Last time my player does a diving header and ball goes over him.. wtf, he like dodges the ball?! :)

Has there been improvement to this matter in PES2013 official patches to the game? Otherwise it's a beautiful and nice game.

I wish I could bring good news. Sadly it seems these patches are mainly placebos that people feel give new game play elements. If you're happy enough with your current ML then my advice would be to stick with it

I haven't noticed anything after the patches.
I have spent good hours trying to understand the crossing and heading systems in PES 2013. Now about 40% of my goals come from headers. It is not difficult.

Very important: forget about crossing and heading from previous PES. Now it is different and it doesn't work like before. You need to know exactly how your forward is positioned in order to delivery a good cross with possibility for header. Using double cross or early cross makes it easier.

There is a thread in this forum, which gives valuable tips about that.

Thank you both for answers. Ok so no need for patching, I'll keep with current. Had a nice season anyway last season just barely qualifying to Europa League. We play with 3 players on one team so it's a nice mess :D

I'll look into the topic you mentioned :)

I was thinking about trying next only to do manual crosses, I've scored a lot of diving headers etc, but like classic headers very rarely, also it seems often that the cross goes too close to keeper no matter where I try pressing.. so that's why manual crosses perhaps as my next try.
