Yeah superstar is tough for me but I love that I mostly lose, occasional win, sometimes draw. It's a lot more entertaining than winning all the time. Might start a Master League on Top Player though and see how it goes, guessing the more I play the easier I'll find it, so will be nice knowing superstar is there if it does.

There is beginner and amateur difficulties below regular, so don't worry about that. Pes will always be harder than Fifa as it tries for simulation. Fifa is just largely arcade shite, although it does have some very good features. Stick with it. Pes takes longer to suss out as there is a lot to it at first to figure out compared to Fifa. When the AI is up your ass, try to find someone to pass to or sprint backwards into space, to make space and pick a teammate out. You'll get used to it.

I love Superstar myself. Your never certain of a win.

I still can't believe I wasted $69.99 on FIFA 15. Player heights are wrong, most faces look inaccurate, graphics are cartoony, movement is sluggish, animations look robotic, user interface is horrendous, and looking at the pitch gives me a headache!

Even though I kept losing games from the PES 2015 demo, it was a lot of fun, and I never get tired of admiring the graphics from the instant replay(and I'm glad I have the option to skip celebrations and whatnot unlike FIFA 15 which sometimes forces me to watch it).

Good to know there is amateur mode. Too bad the game's release is a month away.

I think for now I'll try to get my money's worth with FIFA 15 and then buy PES 2015 when it's released.

It's like I wrote that post, haha. Except I woulda mentioned pounds (£) and the fact that I'm not going near FIFA and fully intend to trade it in ASAP.

FIFA 15 has better presentation and the quality of the stadium, crowd and atmosphere is second to none this year as they good content and this coming from the owner of the PS4 Version of the game, but PES 2015 demo feels more fun in terms of gameplay much better on the pitch as I feel more in control of my players and every match is completely different.

You can win 2-0 on your first match, draw the next game and end up losing 3-0 on Superstar as anything can happen as the AI is smart and the goalkeepers are 50-50 sometimes they can be amazing but make some dreadful mistakes like in FIFA 15 which is even more frustrating. :(

FIFA 15 is good game this year better than last year if you like content, great atmosphere presentations, more stadiums and licenses then get FIFA better on next-gen, but gameplay wise and the MyClub looks good get PES 15 so get both games.

jack-wei well said. Personally love FIFA's off pitch stuff and presentation but hate the gameplay. It's boring. A hybrid of both games would be perfect but I'm hoping with the Windsor team in place and the improvement we are seeing (Gameplay/my Club) this year, that over the next few years PES catches up in that department.

This game is better than FIFA 15 in every aspect except for difficulty.

Will there be difficult levels lower than regular?

That's the only problem I have with the demo. I keep losing the ball, therefore I never get a shot at goal.

I already wasted my money on the underwhelming FIFA 15. I don't want to waste more.

If there are lower difficulties (or really good practice tutorials) in the final game, this game would be the best-looking and playing football let alone sports game.

I thought you were trolling at first but maybe not. I remember the last couple of PES's the lowest difficulty was too difficult for young kids to play unlike the easiest setting on FIFA. If you are new to football games I could see how some might struggle.

On the other end of the scale Superstar is pretty easy. Hopefully the difficulty is increased (without using cheap scripting). I can't see myself playing much against the CPU apart from BAL so that's not such a big problem for me the difficulty though.
Hacking someone down with a slide tackle is so fun on this game.

Really disappointed them markers are still there on set pieces though what shows you where you kick will go . Does anyone actually like them?

Mak, your one of the reasons I'm scared to play online. I'm finding superstar quite difficult. Maybe it's the way I play. How are u finding it too easy? Is it easy to dribble past players for you? Are u cutting teams open with great passing?

As for markers, no not a fan but I wouldn't be that fussed if they kept them in the future. It doesn't hinder me in any way.

I'm not saying I win 5-0 every match, I just feel it is a bit to easy to get behind your opponents defence with simple pass and moves. They seem to get dragged out of position a lot. Build up play through the middle is so easy.

The only types of passes I knew and feel comfortable with was low pass. And the only type of shot (if I even had a chance) was the normal shoot.

I've heard there will be tutorial modes like in FIFA 15. The command list for the PES 2015 demo was incredibly overwhelming, and some of the button symbols were hard to make out.

Oh, and does anyone know if the full game will be able to download on the PSN store for PS4? I can't find it. At least, in the Canadian/US store.

One you learn how to play one football game you can play them all.

FIFA 15 doesn't play like a normal soccer game, I was thrown back when I went back to FIFA 14 which had a more proper pace than 15 does and the AI was more demanding in 14 whereas they lay back in 15 (this is apparent in NHL 15 as well). In FIFA 15 you can avoid midfield at all times which is where the action really happens and dominate matches with long lob passes and the goalkeaepers are incredibly inconsistent. I have already traded in FIFA 15 and went back to FIFA 14 until PES 15 comes out.
angryfootball it'll get added to the PSN store pretty soon, maybe a week or so before Nov 11.

As far as I know you can disable the marker if you dont like it.
I always fake my direction when taking freekick when playing vs friend or a.i..

Demo Snags for me! what you think?

played a few games on the demo now, tried no pass assist up to full pass assist. I didn't play the last pro evo but have every other version back to the snes!
I enjoy it but am not totally sold yet!

Main bad points for me (correct me if I'm not doing something or there is a way to get round this.)

1) Crosses! I get down the wing go to play a cross in with Ronaldo or Bale, both pretty good crossers of the ball, so you would think. and the ball ends up on the roof of the net or out behind the goal?? crossing with double press, single press triple press?

2) Corners, what's with this rubbish cursor thing and control changes!!? plus they are too easy to score from. also against you there a lottery the other team can score when the computer wants to nothing you can really do.

3) THE BIGGEST Problem for me and its a bit of a killer!! is defending!! I used to be a great defender. now it seems you struggle to keep near the opposition attacker even when tracking him, end up running all your defenders out of position. it seems like there a step behind his turns? or end up with 2 guys on the attacker smashing the "X" button like mad. when the computer does lets you stay on the defender R2 and "X" at the correct time do work. but its pretty frustrating.

4) The catch up 75mins!!! and the opposition turns it on again! if your ahead! you can tell when they are going to score. because you just cant get near them to put a foot in. or all your tackles do nothing no effect. or they just pass it 30 times with out you getting near.......hmmmmm

or maybe I need to play it more...... still i'll prob end up buying it still LOL nothing else comes close to the game.. just shame with these thing tweaked it could be perfect!

I think you do need to play it more. The crosses are great, you just need to direct them more and get the power right. There is no triple press. Double press does it along the ground now. Maybe, the medium height cross could be put back in for double press by Konami.

The cursor is alittle too easy alright. I don't find it too easy to score from corners. I play it on superstar though, are you on regular?

The defending is a little crap in the demo, but I don't think you understand it properly either or know fully the controls. Holding X is broken in the demo. It was meant to contain or hold up play. It does fuck all now, except run very slowly and towards the player. It doesn't hold them up at all. You need really to hold R1 and X to get your player to chase down and tackle the player. You also need to time this properly. If you run in too early, the attacker will turn away from you and you will be a step behind the attacker because your running, and that means the physics for you to change direction will be slow due to momentum. I use R2 to jockey, as you are doing, to get position on the attacker and then hold R1 and X when the time is right to run in and make the tackle. Getting position with R2 and timing R1 and X to make the tackle is crucial. Defending with X really needs to be fixed.

At 75 mins, you can defend against them. Get your defending as above right first. Also, your players are probably tired at this stage so you will probably need substitutions. Low stamina really affects their abilities in this game, especially if you have been chasing everything throughout the game.

When you pause the game, there is a command list in the menu. This will show you all the defensive controls.

You sound like you have come from playing Fifa?

I also want medium height cross back in the game! And i don`t think there is a problem, just keep in mind to have the ball on the strong foot and if you stop before making the cross or even have time to do the R2+right Stick thing you will get better results.

For defending I use R2 and move backwards towards my own goal always trying to block the way towards the goal, don`t hold A. Attack only if you`re not the last man between the striker and youre goal that way he nearly never can get a clear shoot at your goal. If you attack try to use a middelfield player that way you won`t create a hole in your defensive line.

For number 4 - when falling behind you can see how the CPU switches to a more offensive gameplan, you can counter that by changing youre tactic too, using the d-pad. If he goes Messi on you - foul him! Than when you have the ball keep it, play it clever just like in real life, there is no need for you to make risky passes.

Yeah the pressure defending (A on XB1 or X on PS4) is kind of broken, but other than that defending is fine. And yes the final minutes catch up AI is brutal at times and switching to parking the bus or passing to your rears until an opening occurs works and yeah foul the ball carrier if he gets close to you.

Yeah, the defending is fine and I kinda like the manual jockeying, just like in Fifa. The pressure with X or A is just crap. I hope its only broken and not the way they want it. I would like to see Konami attempt a manual system aswell like Fifa. Thats one of the things I think is great about it. You can manually defend with jockeying and you decide when to actually make the tackle. Far more satisfying.

Is nobody annoyed by this?

Sometimes :

1. The game disables sliding. Means you can't block a shot in key moments.

2. On a counter attack of the opponent , the game gives your defender a delay.

3. On defending the players tend to have a different purpose which puts you off timing.

4. Everytime the Ball hits the post, it will be a goal after. Thr ballphysic can't be like that everytime. This feels scripted

5. When you slide, the game makes it purposely go to abother direction in order to not stop the opponent.. Feels like a push.

I start to belive that konami and ea work together somehow. Too much similaritiy
