Excepted the cursor and slow balls no catched by goalkeepers, I find now the game very good.

I play in superstar and mostly in offline.
For the moment, I played Copa Libertadores, Copa America and Africa cup of nations.
And I've won all these competitions.
The game is various and looks like reality.
We must play like real teams : return in defence when it's necessary, plays attacks at right side, center, left side.
Change his tactics during the match.
There's nervous intensity all time during the match but, when we score goals, it's big happiness.

As you said, I hope Konami won't make changes worse than now.

The last Datapack did not effect the fake team players. Though if you had created players in the Brazil league, it did reset those players. You would have to delete them out and re-install the Brazil league.

My guess is because the Brazil league is licensed unlike the fake teams.

If they said Datapack and talk about a gameplay patch, there will be both.
Players will disappears due to licence issues, they can't keep players from 2016/17 season (but we can retrieve them with some tool with the player's ID, like SmcCutcheon's Pes ted editor)

How can I save these players?

Add them to the team so that they are no longer free agents, then where will they be saved?

Or

Do I need to re-record them on the players fake?

You need to basecopy them in either the created players section or over existing fake players.

Data pack 2 will be released 16th Nov.
Other then the already announced gameplay patch, it will also include 2 new stadiums (Estadio Nacional de Chile and Emirates Stadium), 1000 new thumbnail photos, over 40 player face updates, licensed kits, new boots and an Xbox One X Enhanced update.

40 new faces? Is that it? And that includes players who already had them anyway (Coutinho, Carrasco, Donnaruma, Silva, Hernandez)!! Can't we have lots of faces to replace the rubbish generic ones in the game? I personally couldn't care less if Carrasco now has a shaved head or not, I want as many realistic looking players as possible.

it would be great if Komani let us import at least face scans.
i remember that this was possible in an earlier PES-Version on PC

Yeah, PES 2013 had a face scan element to it. That would be awesome if you could do that, but I guess Konami are worried that if they made the editing suite THAT good, then people would be less likely to buy the next years game.
