He was in SAo Paulo from last year and moved to Gremio after season update, in which Gremio players are under wierd licensing, almost all players are fake, but with mini faces in gameplan.

That's how it is supposed to be. When you have the full database, you start with 2000h free agents. That was the reason I bought disc version of the game this year

It is not that you wont have any free agents. There will still be some free agents , IE the ML defaults like Giorza, Casteldine , etc but it will not be the thousands of free agents like it is now. Also the players of National Teams , that do not play in a team, will still exist as OTHERS.

The "sollution" is simple. Uninstall your game, re-install it as of today, for example and do not apply LIVE UPDATE. By this ,the database will be drained directly by the latest Datapack, so only players in clubs teams and in National Teams will appear in a new ML database.
Free agents on the one hand, but appearing as "OTHERS", will exist in your ML save.

By this you wont have some thousands of FreeAgents+Others, but only the others, which i assume is some hundreds instead of thousands.

From there, you must create teams by hand, by yourself, without importing any OF, like creating Dortmund and you subtract players like Haaland or Sancho, who play for their National Teams, and you decrease the number even more.

It is very painfull process though and imho you sacrifice more than you win.
