I couldn't care less about the commentary, I usually just turn it off.
Anyone listen to the Spanish on PES2? They got really excited when anyone scored, like the ones in WE7 (I think)

The Chris James and Terry Butcher partnership on PES1 was so funny. Did anyone ever find out who Chris James is, by the way?
On PES2, I thought the Brackley/Brooking commentary was dire, to be honest. I never used it after I heard it. But the crowd noise wasn't that good either.
I have regularly tried out the foreign commentarie - French is good, Spanish is funny, but German is really interesting (they sound very excited with everything that happens!)
I don't think there will be a recognised commentary team on PES3, like Motson-Brooking or Tyldsley-Atkinson, though.
By the sounds of it, the new crowd signs are set to be really good, so I don't think I'd use the commentary anyway.

I never found out who Chris James is, probably some guy Konami hired for the hell of it.

tht guy from channel 5 and robot wars that would be ace,hes mad ooo of course john motson hes knowledge of football stats would be gr8 imagine him blarting out in ya master league game "this is curiously enough the 15 straight win for this team and 1 more win would rubber stamp them as world beaters" ooooooo thts class

I wouldent mind seeing John Champion & Mark Lawrenson they were ISS 2 and the commentary was very good!

I love the way the commentators pronounce the names on WE7 makes me giggle.
Crowd on WE7 is usually good, I play with 3d surround on and they can get defeaning, good fun.
I really hope PES3 don't use that really annoying guy from Eurosport. I dunno his name but even when they show highlights from like the 60's world cup he commentates on it like he's there and he doesn't know what's gonna happen.

yeh what is tht noise he does when a player controls a pass well, its send like peter brackley has given him a blowjob, hes farted or summat and while were on the sexual aspect of pes2 i think they need to change the celebrations cos some of them look like there having a gang bang , i mean when was the last time you saw a team celebrating with so much hip movement like theyve just had an orgasm, then again albion fans do that dont they cos they dont clebrate golas do they lol(bit of black country bartar )

The guy off Ch5 is Jonnathn Pierce (however its is) Hes also on Radio 5 live and should b on Pro evo 3, He used to be on Sensible world of soccer aswell which was rather amusing.
