i got PES5 yesterday and i must say its been worth the wait. But there seems to be a problem. When i'm playing there is no crowd the stadium is empty but when u get a free kick (player whos kickings view) the crowd appear, the same goes for replays.

i get all the chanting and singing but no crowd, it seems bizzare.

is anyone else having this problem?

i would be greatful for any advice.

What I hear is that its to minimize slowdowns cos the ps2 cant handle that much detail in any one scene. Especially was the case in we8/pes4.

Dont know if the xbox has the same thing since thats a port. Anyone know?

the crowd is pitiful but theres still a crowd and when u play a frendiely match against a mate ot just the comp when u score sometimes it shows u the crowd celebrating

I play on 50hz with the normal view and there is always a crowd. sometimes not that big tho. anyway, who has time to look at the crowd? if your playing on 6 star and looking out for a crowd you'll get beat.

If you choose the crowd is neutral then the crowd will support home and away team. But I found that in WE9 the crowd is more than PES 5.

its not a glitch its coz the ps2 is too crap to handle everything pes is doing

they took the crowd out so it doesnt slow down

can someone clarify the problem. is it just from the "wide" camera angle?

what about the default medium one? or long?

Its happens no matter what camera angle you have. This only happens during game-play and not during the following:

Freekick closeups
Goalkick closeups
Goal Celebrations
Substitutions
Injuries
Replays
When teams enter the stadium
Cut scenes at half time and full time.

Like i said, this only happens whilst ur actually playing the game. To be honest, i think its spoils it.

it is TOTALLY disgraceful! I can't believe it! How does a game get put on the shelves with such a rediculous bug on it? I hope the patchers can sort this one, the game is perfect apart from that!!!!!!!!!!

And by the way it is a bug, because if you change the view to broadcasting... or any of the different ones other than nornal and wide, the crowd are there as normal.

They better send everyone a fixed version. :angry:
