Hi.

I got this weird "problem", when I change the formation in a team, lets say I create a own player, and put him in the starting line of ex. Man Utd. And then starts a League or a cup, then hes on the subs and the formation I made in edit mode are GONE, they switch back to default. (the players ARE in the team, but they are not on the positions I made them to be. I f*cking hate it, cuz I want to have some players in the starting line of the CPU teams, but they are not there! They play by the defualt team anyway.

ONLY not when they are up against me. Then my changes are visible.
Like I made a FW. Player with 99 in everything and so on, and put him in a CPU-team.(league) But He dident score anything, instead one of their sub scored for them all the time. Wich I thought was weird, but not when I noticed this "bug".


Anyone know how to fix it? Cuz its really making me wanna stop playing when the teams I "make" arent like I want them to be.(When Im not playing against them) =(

Did you register the player you created?? I believe in the Edit mode, there is a register option where you need to register your players that you have created. Hope this helps.

Yes. Of course I register him. =)
But it doesnt matter if its a new player or just a little change in a team. The changes doesnt stay in ex. League play. The CPU uses their old "default" setup. And this is for the own team to.

If I put ex. Christiano Ronaldo on top, instead af van Nistelroy. Then the changes I made are gone when I start the league. OK I can fix it there(By changing it in the league).
But I can´t fix the CPU teams using the defualt startline/formation.

It doesnt matter if I make a new Option file and so on. Same prob.


If theres anyone more that can confirm this, that would be nice.:)

In pes 4 league and master league, the cpu teams use the edited formation (with the first team changes) only when they are up against my team. When the cpu teams pit against one another, the stats (goals, assists and ratings) calculated are based on the default formation. This can be seen from the fact that the new 1st team striker that I put in scores only when he plays against me while a reserve striker scores at other matches. It seems that the 1st 11 (plus reserves etc) are hard coded as default into the formation when they calculate results for cpu only matches.

Is this the problem you experienced in pes 5?

YES! Exactly! Thats my "problem". I´ts not fun. =(
Seem like Ive got the problem fixed a bit anyhow. Used the Xp editor 0.33 (for pes5) and changed in there. And it works... almost.

The changes I make in the Xp Editor are visible when playing league, but when I go into the Pes Editor theres some "f*cked up" formations that aren´t supposed to be there. =P But they are only visible in the Pes Editor, not when you play The Legue then my teams are like they should be. Even the cpu players have my "edited" formations now. =)

So if you want to change the formations/starting line for ex the CPU teams use the option-editor. (Dunno which one though last version for pes 4 is 1.33 i think. Google for it. =)

To bad you can´t change this ingame. But hey, atleast I solved it a bit. =)
