Babel and robin van persie should always play in the dutch squad
.....van bommel top player..to bad v.basten put him out......there some players wich i doubht about to be good enouf like landzaat,vlaar there gonna have big problems in the word cup 2006 cus there just not expiereiced enouf. Landzaat shoudl put out the team and van bommel back in alsow striker Makkay verry good..shoul realy go to germany 2006......v.nistelrooy is an very static player of moments (not my type of striker) makaay is an killer in the 16 m area.

Did you make up the numbers yourself or got them off a site or something??BTW, for the WC 2006 squad, I would trade someone for a third keeper (Oscar Moens from AZ, Maarten Stekelenburg from Ajax when he's fully recovered from his injury or Edwin Zoetebier from PSV when he will be the first keeper in a club team) and a striker for the right wing (Yildirim IF he ever gets a new call from Van Basten, or Castelen when he will be playing some good games in a row). Probably Lindenbergh would leave the squad, and maybe Bouma when Vlaar keeps playing good games and Bouma doesn't!

Van Persie --> I totally agree
But Babel, I have my doubts. He's not good enough to start in the squad yet, Robben is way better. Perhaps op the right flank, but Kuijt has more defensive capabilities and a better mentality.
Have you seen Vlaar play? Last year, he was awesome in the UEFA Cup matches with AZ. And during the training he totally outclassed Van Nistelrooy. I think he will be joining the final WC 2006 squad, he had great potential.
Landzaat is a good player in my opinion, but I think Van Bommel is better. I think Van Bommel will return in the squad that goes to Germany, but who knows?? We'll see
And the problem with Makaay is that he rarely scores for the Dutch squad. He is a very good striker, but hiss skills never are shown in the Dutch squad. While Van Nistelrooy scores more and gives some assist, although he played some terrible matches as well.

So I take it that the Dutch squad has stupid names again?.. Like Farzel Haar?
Thats poor!.. I agree with Van Basten about selecting players that are currently playing well, theres alot of International Team Selection done on past performances. I can agree with this when its a really vital game but sometimes players are selected to play for their country in Friendly games when its best to try out new players.
