PES1 wasn't a PS2 release title like FIFA 2002 was, so it was a few months behind. I was just saying that FIFA doesn't always get released before PES like you were saying.

Personally I never listen to release dates as they are never right! I only take note when it is a couple of days before the release date that has been named! That way no need for dissapointment! Konami and Playstation are the masters of putting back release dates! Anyways like I read in a previous post 1 week wont hurt to much! I cant wait to play PES6 but I can wait a bit longer!

What are you talking about? PES1 was released in October 2001, nearly a year after the PS2's release. How can that make FIFA 2002 a release title? :huh:

it doesnt really matter, if you have one of the great pes5 optionfiles theres no need 4panic as they are more up to date with everything then pes6 will be,im not really bothered with it this year 4some reason and ive had every game since the snes anybody else not 2fussed about it?

I completely agree with you just can't wait to see the new player stats. I've got a feeling their will be a real change in the stats from WE11 to PES6. Always such a pleasure to see how the Konami heads rate players...

either the 27th or 20th as these are fridays and most games are released on a friday. We might find out this week from Konami at X06, hopefully the 20th though.

And if I worked for Konami I wouldn't give two shits when half-term is, I'd look at the marketing and distribution aspect of it and make sure everything is in place for release at the correct time ;). People will buy it regardless of whether it comes out in time for half term or not :tongue:
