correct... but Fifa is nothing compared to pes ! Pes is better all the way.. But that's a question of wheather you want to score bicycle-kicks all the time, or if ou want to play realistic and get some competition.. By he way, I see that you're a dane (agf) :D

Ok ok lets all get this straight Fifa is the same crap every year. All this total control and Midfield general stuff has all been done before and it turned out to be very very poor. The commentary on fiffa is the only thing is has over Por Evo and that is it. To sum it up.

Fifa = Kids game.
PES = Mans game.

As for the comment about pro evo having flaws - everything has flaws if you scrutinise it close enough.

Prime example - REAL football has loads of flaws IMO like bore-draws, no tv replays, bad refereeing etc etc. It's still the greatest game on earth. Ditto Pro Evolution

i kinda agree with PES being overrated..dont think i am a traitor but everyone must be allowed to have an opinion...my opinion is...everyone says PES is perfect and EXACTLY like real life ! its not..free kicks suck,the movement is to stiff and loads more..PES is just a game , it aint perfect..far from it actually...im not saying its bad ,im just saying its not that perfect..PES has its flukes ,but every year it gets a shitload better so you never now..someday it may be perfect....fifa still sucks :D

I agree with poffeman. PES is far from perfect. The user interface in PES is terrible.. The feedback in Master League is terrible. The cutscenes also look like shit to be honest... If you look at the cutscenes after winning a cup in PES2 it looks almost identical to WE9. Have anyone ever looked at another sports game??! Have you seen ESPN NHL 2k5? All players have a first name and a second name which can be changed so the commentary is correct in both first name and second name... You could create a player called Thierry Zidane and the commentary would say just that! The cutscenes from ESPN NFL 2k5 are amazing. The franchise options in EA's NBA 2005 are also really good? I mean, what is up with all these regenerated Maldinis? I hate that... I don't want to play with Bergkamp age 17. How hard would it be to just add new randomly generated newcommers. And how about a youth team? The gameplay in PES/WE is great! A fun game... Timeless if you play it with friends but everything outside of the game is crap. Fifa is a bit better on every other aspect of the game but since the gameplay is crap the whole game is crap. I love PES but I think they should open their eyes and create something more... the disc is under 2 GBs... Put something in there... 50 stadiums... Fiction teams... Whatever, just do something new.

you are right... its the main difference for me. Pes is still evolving and fifa is in same place as few years ago. and imo fifa2006 wont change it. all videos, screens and announcements looks quite nice... but i dont think that final product will look like they announce.

Maybe we can see a revolution in WE10 which will be released on PES3.
Other gameplay everyone knows that PES/WE is behind FIFA. So does Konami. Perhaps Konami may just be saving up their resouces for their next major release. Well, they better be cos PS3 will not come cheap at least for a couple of years.
