PES Most Wanted (Quite Literally)

GENERAL/GAMEPLAY-

-GK:
Realistic shot-stopping and diving
Improved timing of rushing out
Improved timing of punching the ball out
Handling
Stamina
Wear different colours to outfield players and referee

-DF:
Sticking to their own postitions
Clearing the ball quicker, further and more effectively up the field
Heading the ball under pressure (AI/computer does it better the majority of the time when defending crosses, for some unknown reason :S)
Improved stamina levels (many defenders have very low stamina, even though they don't run around as much as other outfield players)

-MF:
Ability to pickout passes and through balls using brilliant vision when given enough space and time

-FW:
Better timing of runs (despite the fact if they haven't got the 'Reaction' card attached)

-Other aspects:
More flexible (rather than a 'robtic') feel to gameplay
Momentum/confidence shifts during games
Slightly higher chance of handling the ball when defending under pressure (inside or outside the box)
Pinpoint/manually directed crosses (not randomly hit into the box)
Ball hitting referee
Power bar for passing and crossing, including goalkeepers
Loyal fans who wear shirts of the clubs they support (a bit of expansion on this if I may: in PES10, fans are sitting 5 feet apart from each other in a pattern according to their t-shirt colour eg. red green blue, red green blue, red green blue...)
Less 'PES' and 'KONAMI' signs around stadiums
Wind and snow conditions
More teams, leagues and lower leagues from all around the world (especially for use in for ML)
Advanced heading
More control over directing passes to players in space
More goal celebrations
More stadiums (KONAMI stadium only for friendly games)
Real reserve teams (especially for use in for ML; reserves fixture list in ML)
More, specific and effective player attributes



ML-

Better contract handling
Realistic youth team/youth coach
Retired players should not be 'reborn' in youth teams
Players do not retire at an early age
Better negotiating system/less time to agree a deal
Reason for rejected negotiation
More scout report information
Player trades
Minimum fee release clause
Set 'Asking Fee' for your own players
Offer player to a specific club
Players' happiness does not increase or decrease if team is guaranteed a spot in the next round of a competition (eg. champions league. This should be a chance for youngsters to get more experience, whilst first team players realise that they are allowed to rest)
More/specific training areas (eg. shooting, stamina)
Report of players coming back from international duty
Random weather changes during a match (eg. rain for 10 mins, clear for 5 mins, rain for 45 mins, etc)
Overall confidence and over-confidence system of team
View reports of award winners
Small training games to slowly raise player attributes during Summer (small training games also for 'Training' option in menu)

More boots/edit boots
More squad space to add players



Feel free to add to any of your ideas. I am sure there are many more places for improvement for MF, FW and Editing.
Finally, requests for improvements on BAL, Online and Community play, as I have not explored these areas yet.

It is the gameplay that matters...

i agree on most of what you posted , but to me the main and only concern is the game play . For over ten years , i have been playing this game , I enjoyed playing it alone or with my friends .....but sadly not any more ....the reason is focusing on fifa and what they are doing instead of improving their success ....they declined in the last three years, particularly when they started making games for ps3 ....i just hope they read this and fix it soon ...for the pace is slow ,the tackles are horrible ,and the game is not playable ...at least , not as it used to be to say the least.

All I have to say is, the reason fans are not happy is because this game is the most Inconsistent game on any platform right now.

One year we have snow, then the next year we dont have snow
One year its good GK's, the next year they cant save anything
One year you have a licence for an English team, the next year its a different team
One year the game is fast, the next year its slow
One year the ref is ok, the next year he's accepting bribes

...to be honest the list of things to fix is endless...so in that respect to start of with I want an overhaul of the game engine and just get a decent game first of...then we can try get everything else right once we have consistently good gameplay.

thats actually true BarcaFC, they have licences for 2 english teams every year. why cant they have licences that last 4ever, then every bring in another 2 licenced teams the following year??

I agree with everything schosley said, but I want BAL fixes too.
Better contracts, possibility to "steal" a number from a less prolific player when you are concidered a "star", getting some influence on the teams on field attitude etc by using 4 different commandos in place of the strategy buttons when you become team captain. (with sound effects ;D) More haircuts, 95% of the ones we got now are too ugly to use, ever. I also want to be able to choose shorter shorts and bigger or tighter jerseys, they don't come in "one size fits none" you know...

I think the rest of my wishes for BAL fixes gets fixed when / if they ever fix other AI related issues.

According the licences:
I don't care if they don't have any licenses at all, the database need a complete overhaul before it's playable anyway, so let them save the cash for licenses and spend them on making a better AI instead.
