The latest and best patch released for PES2008 - PS2 version.

This MULTI Patch is compatable with: ENG, FRE, GER, ITA, POR, SPA regions.

I did not have the time to try it out until last night and I found
it to be excellent, that's why I decided to post about it...

*****ATTENTION*****

Thanks lad's for helping other "Region" users. I do not own these versions personally.
There could be some files that are not in the same order for different regions.

I know for certain the Main Patch, Param.dat(kit mdl assign file) & the
SLES xxx xx file(kit relink,chant relink) are compatible for all regions.
However the x text files (apx 25mb) & over.afs may differ. I know the
locations of in game text and some items like scoreboards are in different
order for different region versions. I adjusted insertion methods accordingly.

If problems are still persist with other versions i will delete them from
the main page so it will be UK/Spain ONLY.

Sorry lads but this is the honest way to go about this situation.

I can 1000% guarantee that this version is working in all modes no
freeze with all patch files applied in DKZ 0.92b

This version may not be as good as the PES6 patch i did, but do not
underestimate the effort involved. It took me 1 month just to assign
kit layers to all teams in the param!

i changed a lot of flags and corrected some orders (switzerland,
poland, bundesliga). i also added some missing flags, but there
are still some flags missing - look 2 posts above. i hope anyone
can help me out with that mbanners.

to install:
open 0_text.afs in gamegraphicstudio or in dkz and import the
files inside the rar-archive.

I'm quite new here. I am constantly interchanging Option Files for the PS2 for the past few months and your patch may just be the perfect one. However, sorry for being thick, is it possible for you to post a tutorial in installing this patch. How different is a patch from an Option File?

I would also appreciate if all the softwares needed to install this patch be revealed. Do I also need a very high capacity memory card, say the Max 64mb Memory Card?

Hi Carlos,

A patch is totally different to OF modification,
when patching you modify original game data,
for example, menus & backgrounds, stadiums(not just the names),
league balls, songs, real team chants, real kits(when possibe), etc...

To find all the help you need for this patch download
any Region file, for example the ENGLISH one.

Main program used to patch PES2008 is DKZ Studio,
dl link included in post#1.

Ive patched my game and was wondering how to change a kit . Ive got Game graphic studio and have found the kits in o-text... can anyone help me (1) is there a list of where each kit is located (2) how do i replace one (3) what tools will i need

Theres a guide inside 1 of the folders. I THINK its in part 4 of the main patch. Its very straight forward & i only used DKZ studio & then CDVDGEN to build the new iso. Very well done.
