PES3 Demo&Beta VS PES3 Final???

Recently I got the hold of PES3 Demo from OPM Australia, and I just for fun wanted to give it a quick try after playing final version for couple of months, curiosity reasons.
I have to say WOW! Unfortinately for DEMO version.
NO stutter, 4 teams, exibition mode only, one half, white ball.

The ball is "bigger" (read: RIGHT SIZE). Even though it is plain white, looks and plays better than in Final Version, actually reminds me more on WE7 than on PES3. Curling of the ball and physics seem to be different than in PES3 Final.
I used "some sources" to find BETA version of the game since the ball is the same as in demo, has all teams etc., so I downloaded it, burned it and well again, it plays better than Final version. DAMN!

Now if you look at the back of the cover of your PES3, some of the screenshots have white ball and some new adidas ball.
The whole manual is with the white ball, and if you have a better look there is a picture of how to do a trow in, and it is old PES2 method. This is exactly the same manual as it was for PES2, except with little modification. What a cheap arses.
WHY THE HELL DID THEY USE WHITE BALL FOR THE MANUAL AND COVER???
No, I don't want to hear excuses"the game was still in development" etc... because in that case the balls on the back of the cover should all be white, not blue white, and it is NOT hard to put new screen shots before realese.

ALL of the magasines reviewed the WHITE BALL version of the game(beta?). No wonder it scored 10/10. The game would be PERFECT if they used the same ball in the final version.

I've seen eksol's picture of back cover for WE7 International and what I see, It is the same TITLE SCREEN picture of PES3 with the SAME BLUE WHITE BALL. Even few screenshots are the same as on PES3 cover. Is this just fixed PES3 version, renamed into WE7I??? I should think so.

I really got sick of Konami's policy of trying to follow the release dates and give us crappy versions of WE and PES, so we have to patch it and do stuff, and then as soon as you think FINALLY it's fully patched, you get new version of the game...

Why do they have to make 5 versions of the same game through out the year??? Because the first, second, third and fourth versions are not complete and finished, and then somebody serves you FE (FInal Evolution) and we should be happy. I feel like a tester for Konami. Shit that. What a "monopoly"!!!
Stop making monkeys of us.

Konami programers should take their time (even if it's going to take couple of years), test the game properly, fix the bugs, get the licenses and then release ONE version(FE) for ALL regions and then their bloody dream will come thru, they'll outsell EA sports FIFA!

Anybody noticed what I have?
I dare you try new demo!

Any oppinions???

P.S. No personal offending etc guys, this isn't the place for that.

Wow, nobody replied on this topic for months and now there is a 'true fan'. :)

Yes, indeed, you can get white ball, unfortunately only in ‘official magazine’ or beta version. Beta version is incomplete version of PES3; ‘official magazine’ is complete, as ‘retail final’, and I would say that Konami changed from one version to another in last couple of weeks before publishing.

This is very interesting topic and it has a lot of depth.
These are the findings I came up till present day.

Chronologically:

September 2003 - Konami got first Demo out, which was a bit crappy, had white ball, four teams etc., but it had terrible stutter. Especially when ball was crossing the goal line.

In November 2003, 3 versions of PES3 came out. One was beta which had less stutter than demo, white ball, all the teams etc., but suffered from some other issues which made game 'unfavourable'. One was ' official magazine' version, which most magazines reviewed, and third 'retail final'. I'll skip the first one and tell you the differences of other two, which is VERY interesting, at least to me.

In November 2003, most of the magazines got 'official magazine' version with white ball. (Unfortunately the magazine I write for in Australia (won’t name it because of discretion), didn't get this version until couple of moths after retail version was out).
No wonder this version got 10/10 and was blessed and hailed as it seriously deserves. This is NOT beta version most people had on this site and played. This is EXACT clone of WE7 in English with slight differences and different entry screen, and menus. This version is different than retail final version in which title screen has PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 3 across the whole screen, while in the 'official magazine' version PRO EVO SOCCER 3 is written in top left corner with smaller fonts. Also, retail version has "champions" ball on title screen and game, while 'official magazine' version had white ball in both title screen and game. Other than that game menus are exactly the same. Graphically it is the same as well.

But in terms of gameplay, which is most important, there ARE differences:
First, players do not 'ice-skate' on the grass, ball is the right size and heavier and better to control, there is PES3 move (flicking the ball), it is SMOOTH as WE7i (JAP) and has NO STUTTER AT ALL. Goalkeepers seem harder than PES3 retail, and as I write this you probably guess that it looks a lot like WE7, except it is better in few things, has one extra move, does not have a stutter (smoother than WE7) and has no bugs like WE7.
So it is some king of hybrid version WE7.

Now, why Konami decided to go for the other version into retail and give magazines different, stays a mystery. Whether they already made millions of copies of "wrong retail version" and it was too costly to withdraw it (most likely), or maybe some management decision or whatever... What made me to assume that they already made so many copies of wrong version is my conversation with one of the KONAMI Europe employees. He outlined that stutter should not be in the game and that audience causes the stutter. He mentioned some issues with the ball but because of his ‘not so good’ English I didn’t get what he was all about. He sent me few different copies (one of them was magazine white ball version). One copy was fluid, one had stutter and one was the RIGHT ONE, with white ball. I could not get hold of this guy after that to try to find out more on this topic unfortunately. Instead I ended up talking to Joanne from Konami who told me this “You can do two things, accept the game as it is, or return the game and get the refund.” This just backed my assumption of making copies.
The stutter indeed is caused by the amount of audience. That’s why when you turn them off in exhibition match the game is fluid. It is not commentary issue, but audience. (Try it if you don’t believe)
To conclude things, we all ended up with the version we all have (except magazines) the ‘retail version’, with ice-skating, small ball and stutter. So it is not true that magazines praised the game and ranked it as TOP DOG since they played different version of the game from most of gamers. This is why my vote goes to PES3 over WE7, as it truly is better game.

And if I’m allowed to make a joke on Konami, “Thank you so much for delivering us a hybrid sport ‘ice-football’."

That was well done and really deep comparsions, as i say in one from my posts - what's the reason of releasing so many versions of one game ? Well, as allways, it's all about making "easy money".

The PES3 beta wasn't supposed to be released, I believe.
WE7 was for Japan - it's our own fault that we couldn't be patient enough to wait for PES3 so we rushed out to buy WE7.

But releasing all the WE7:I versions is pushing it a little.
Or maybe they could argue that it is different games released for different places.
