I think that would be impossible. Altough Im surely not an expert, but if you could do it with an optoinfile then surely someelse had discovered this before. I cant believe this.

GFK, they're talking about editing the option file on a PC, not just the conventional PES3 way. They've discovered how to change the nationalities of club players using a similar method.

I don't think it's possible either though, the option file doesn't hold any images on it, all it will contain is a reference to which kit/colour combination each club uses. There's no way an option file of 300kb can contain images in it.

There's no vendetta going on. If something is bad, people are allowed to give their opinion of it. If something is good, the same applies. Early pesfan option files = bad. Newer ones... we'll see.

That's pretty much irrelavent because stadium names are just a string, they won't take up anything more than a few KB. Also the badges are already stored on the memory card, all they've done is found a way of editing them on a PC and managing to save it as part of the option file - the main advantage being that they can have a transparent colour for the background.

The option file would have to be a similar size to the patches to get all the images into the game, I doubt they could fit it onto an 8meg memory card.

If they could do it I would be extremely impressed, although I don't see how it is possible.

You 're probably right but informatic science is sometimes so complicated that I think we don't have found all the way to decode the prog.

i am considering buying an x-port so that i can get all the real strips etc. i need 2 know if u can download free option files onto a non chipped ps2. send back

Yes but you can't get real kits, the only thing that you can make better with an X-Port is the badges.

I suggest you read the Patching threads and X-Port threads so that you're clear on what it is you can and can't do or you might be a bit disappointed.

Georginho, did i read your sig right, in the next option file update (using an X-Port) the names of the grounds will be changed e.g. Tradbrick will be Old Trafford?
