There were 6 seeds last a couple of days ago. I know as I seeded the whole patch to them individually. And they've all gone. Currently there is one guy who has over 90% of the patch so he should be sharing it with the others until the other seeds return.

ok I'm stuck on number 1) of the instructions... I'm on that ftp, but the user/pass is confusing me... I put "we" in like it says but its wrong....

There's a thread which shows you exactly what you type to get into lomungtung.
But the torrent method is probably going to be easier and quicker to get the patch.

oh sorry, I thought u had to do all of the instructions I just got my slide card through the post today so I decided to get patched up. I was gonna ask about this FlashFXP thing but I guess I don't need it... Thanks Zyg

Got so far, burned it onto disc (four times!) and none of them work. I don't get it if the PS2 can read video files on a DVD+R then why can't it read ISO files, now I've got to find someone with a DVD-R burner, wish I'd have known all this when I bought the DVD+R burner

Svendust I made the same mistake as you. I used DVD+RW and it wouldnt work. I know your'e using DVD+R, why not try DVD-R. Also is your PS2 the new slimline PSTwo? If so I may be able to help with some instructions. Let me know.

Yo Zyg long time no speak, hows it going? Seems like your getting stressed with all the leeches that take the file and dont seed it.. Is'nt lomuntungs ftp working anymore? they could try that.

Hi. I'm not stressed mate.
It's the people who winge about it coming slowly that don't bother sharing it afterwards and so the cycle repeats. Just letting them know how it is. I haven't checked lomungtung in a while but the torrent seems a more stable method of getting it.

I couldn't write onto DVD-R when I first burned it but now I've brought a new DVD rewriter that burns onto DVD-R.

Yeah, I have got a PSTwo, what kind of help have you got to offer?

BTW Zyg, how do you seed, I don't want to be a greedy bugger that downloads it and then doesn't share it and I'm starting to get a guilty conscience

Just leave your torrent program open and it should be seeding the completes files. If you clicked to stop it, then right click on it and continue/start it and it will seed. Appreciate it.

Hey Zyg, I downloaded the the file closed torrent and extracted the rars. So now I reopened the torrent file to reseed the patch. Its says that I'm seeding indefinitely but my upload speed is a 0 % now even though the screen on piratebay shows there are still leechers looking for the file. Is this normal cause I don't usually use torrent.

Give it some time and it should connect to them. Perhaps you could check your settings and see how many people you can upload to at once (and increase it). Perhaps your upload is being prioritised to a file you may be currently downloading? Thanks.

I havent got anything else downloading at the moment so I will get this patch...maybe use it on my PS2 version, even though I play in the PC mostly and just keep it for others to share.

Just using the torrent file that Zyg posted opened in Bittorrent or Shareaza and it should download. You dont need to use any of those other methods.

I think you've got the same problem I had, theres no-one to seed you the download, i.e. no-one to d/l off, I'd try and seed you but last time I tried it went wrong, you've just gotta wait until someone seeds you, or ask nicely to someone who could seed you

BTW I got my slim tool today and after an hour or two of trying to find out where the little bits went in (thanks to no instructions :realmad: ) and have now got it working Great patch, can't wait to get a game going on it.

If more people start seeding the yes. Unless of course you ar on a 56k then I guess that is about as fast as it can go.
