PES4/WE8 Goalkeepers

What are the differences between the goalkeepers in We7/PES3 and WE8?

Or Should this thread be in the WE8 discussion thread?

the diff is they're a bit tougher if you don't know the trick, in WE8 you have to shoot real slow don't give it all the power you have, in WE7 you just shoot till half the power bar and it will go in now it won't and yeah from the outside try to shoot in a straight line don't shoot diagonaly that's it i guess

I wanted to know this aswell.....because I'm a keeper,and in my new official PS2-UK magazine it said that goalies will now be far more reliable.......so I was guessing saves,decisions,one-on-ones, etc....anyone willing to elaborate?

i think its a lot harder to beat the keepers 1-1 and from inside the box

I wouldn't say it has changed alot as you can see in the Barca v Juva game!

What is much more reliable, is you could take control of the keeper by pressing Traingle+L1. It works much better now than in PES3. I saved two imminent goals today against my friend this way.

Trinagle+L1 is that for total control? Coz I'm using only triangle for rushing out wint the goalie.

Yes, Ove. Use Triangle + L1. Be careful that you're not holding another direction or sprinting with a defender while pressing the button, that'll make your GK run aimlessly, risking an empty goal for the opponent. It takes time to adapt to it, but once you do, its a real goal-saver!

i dont find scoring all that hard... shoooting 1 on 1 is definately harder but the lob shot works just as well as b4 and using the fake shot works really well too

Guys,
CURSOR FIX ON THE KEEPER for FULL control of the guy for the entire game! Use Square or Circle and the stick. I use that option all the time to work on my GK skills.

Maybe you should create yourself! I did that to work on my skills. I'm an indoor soccer keeper myself, so I'm trying to convert to outdoors game. But I'm 160cm @ 52kg, so I'm trying to be as invincible as my cyber self (even with realistic stats).
