the English championship replaces the weakest teams from Germany Holland and France
championship stadiums and balls thanks to vlad
real kits for all teams
missing world cup teams
boca & river plate
6 Russian/Brazilian teams added
3 all-star teams
updated squads, stats and appearances
a lot of championship player improved
hopefully online compatible

How to use this patch:

Download the patch.
Use WinRAR to uncompress the file (guide to using winrar can be seen in this thread: http://www.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=5000)

This gives you the files of the patch, including the installation instructions:

You need DKZ studio and kitserver 5.1.2, so install them first.

(get kitserver here http://www.wevolution.org/index.php?page=tools
and DKZ here http://files.filefront.com/DkZ_Studio_091Brar/;4894786;;/fileinfo.html)

1. Replace the GDB folder with the one from th patch

2. Replace the kserv.cfg (its in your kitserver folder)

3. Open DKZ studio and open up your O_text file

4. go to 'Edit' then to 'Import' and select 'import all files'
find the O_text folder from the patch and click OK

5. when done go to file/save as and a save it as something like 'tempO_text'

6. when its done saving find your data folder and rename the file you just saved back to 'O_text',
backing up the O_text file already there.

7.Do the same thing for your E_text file (importing all files from the E_text folder)
'Cept this time you shouldn't have to save a new version


8.Back-up and Replace your Pes5.exe with the one from the patch

9.Finally replace your option file with the patch one
(My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 5\save\folder1)


Thanks to Vincent Vega for the Brazilian teams, a hell of lot of people for kits (sorry can't remember most of them) and Vlad for the stadiums, balls and adboards


IMPORTANT!!
online mode will only work with other people who have the patch!

badges/correct radar colours don't work in online mode

formations are konami default in online mode

Brilliant patch thanks, one of the all stars team has a pure black kit though. Other than that brilliant.

I have a slight problem playing online with it with my friend. First of all when we entered the formation screen it would say connection lost, but then i realised I forgot to rename the 0_text from temp0_text, same with e_text.

So we got past that stage, did our formation but everytime we both click start, it begins to load and then shuts down both our screens to desktop. Any ideas?

If your mate doesnt have the patch you cannot play him. You can only play people who have the patch. You can download something that allows you to play against people without patchs but then you cant play people with patchs... if that makes sense.

internacional kits are transparent in game and also some Brazilian Clubs GK kits..
can someone tell me how can i fix this??

I have a problem with Step 8 of the installation instructions.

"8.Back-up and Replace your Pes5.exe with the one from the patch"

I do this but i can't start the game with the new PES5.exe. All it does is give me a windows error and asks me if i want to send a report to Microsoft.

I can use the old PES5.exe fine but i don't get the different adboards and all of the stadiums.

Please help!

also had this problem!

when you replace your Pes5.exe with one from the patch you have to uninstall kitserver and then install it again,just going to kitserver setup press remove and install again worked for me!

P.S there are only a few Championship stadiums in the patch - Elland Road, Madejski Stad, Home Park and Portman Road.

Is that right or has something gone amiss?

wont load!

i have installed the patch to the exact instructions, but when i load the game up nothing comes up. i did the kitserver removal and that stopped the error msg but i cant load the game!! can anyone help???
