Pes5 controls

This is my first post in here so please be gentle. Pes games seem to have a lot of complex controls such as super cancel e.t.c. I have printed the entire pes moves from a website and it came to three pages of basic, intermediate and advanced moves.

Now I am getting into this game as I also play fifa; I don't do too bad on 5* winning 2-0 1-0 out of every five games. Is the key to mastering this game to use all the moves pes5 has to offer because reading through the sheets I have printed off is giving me a headache.

Give up fifa for a start, that's the most basic 'football' game ever.

I used to love fifa but then i discovered the wonders of PES which is 100x more advanced and more realistic and fun!

Maybe you should just aim to learn one move at a time, practise them on the training ground. Then incorporate these moves into your normal gameplay.

You don't need to use all of the moves. You just need to pick what is suitable for each particular situation. Mastering the manual pass is much more useful than stepovers and stuff like that. Focus on one thing at a time and you'll get there. Good luck!

i beg to differ , sensible soccer was alot more basic and so was italia 90 anywho..

No is the answer to your questions, those moves will enchance your game i suppose but knowing super cancel and the skills is not the way to master your game. To master the game its the small things, passing, formation, tatics (i.e in the formation menu).... I've played against alot of people online who use alot of skills and what not and they do give you a good game. But theirs no match to a person who has good tatics, passing and general football knowledge.

The use of all moves is useful but not the key, passing and formation/tatics are in my opinion

But manual pass is niffy but its not like its essential to your game

Thanks for the advice.

This happens to me a lot when gaming in that the more I play the worse I seem to get. I have just played for about 40 minutes and only scored two goals. My passing and defending seem ok but I think I have slowed my gameplay down too much and can't seem to score. Is it a game that needs to be played fast to get regular goals.
