well todays monday and considering it takes about 3-5 days for your order i checked my email hoping i'd have a confirmation that my order had been sent. unfortunately it wasnt there. starting to worry i decided to give the nice people at play a ring who to be honest were quite helpful but didnt really tell me what i wanted to hear. he said they normally send things out a few days before release but couldnt gaurantee it'd arrive on the friday even, nevermind early. he said there was around a 75% chance i'd recieve pes5 on friday if not, it'd be saturday morning!

not liking the sound of that, tempted to cancel order and just go get it in the shops!

Damn man! Just got home to a brown package well excited thinking it was PES 5 lol. Only for it to turn out to be some stupid Britannia cd's that have been sent to me by mistake grrrrrr!

I too have ordered from Play.com but never have before so I am praying I get it before Friday :) if not then they will at least make sure it's the friday wont they?

As I have said last year I got it on the Wednesday before.

You people need to calm down and bide your time. If it is posted on Wednesday, you should get it on Thursday or Friday so relax! I understand the excitement, but still.

I got mine two days early from Play (PES3), I did not look at the order status to see if it changed prior to delivery. But I am not sure if it would, would it, are there any implications for Play for shipping a product before its release date?

However, I am sure you have all got things to do, so just CTFO you'll get it soon. Of course statistically one of us good die before Friday and never get to play it!!!

It was a joke, but you are right, its morbid. It might do to sober a few people up, its only 4 more nights before they get it, possibly less, and they are going on like its oxygen!

But it is good to get excited about things, no matter what it is!

I've been told they'll get it in tomorrow, therefore hopefully send it tomorrow too. I still reckon it won't arrive till Friday though, Play always seems to take a while to arrive.

play are always faster to deliver to the south, this is due to them being located in jersey. If they send it tomorrow and you live in the south the is a high possibility of you getting it Thursday, if not sooner. There have been cases where they have sent the big games etc special delivery which is 1/2 days max.

I had to sign for mine last year on the wednesday morning so, anything could happen from here:)
