PES5 on xbox 360 at 720p!?

Hi.....

I just got my precious xbox 360 this morning. I'm a die hard PES fan, but I bought the new FIFA RTWC, just to check it out. Wow that game sucks big time, great graphics but no gameplay what so ever. So I exhanged it right a way for a copy of PES5, which is compitable with the xbox 360. But I can't get it to play in the resolution 720p - all it gives me is a normal 4:3 screen (I have a HDTV!) I thought that all the games that were compitable with the xbox 360 would be upscaled to 720p!? Anyone with a solution to this!??

Cheers............

PES5 does not have widescreen support aka 16:9. So even if you are running at 720p with the 360 it will either stretch the 4:3 or leave black bars on both sides.

Shut up..... If you haven't got anything relevant to say - then stay away from this thread!!!!

I wrote that I have a HDTV to make it clear, that it's not a typical 4:3 screen!

I hate when people write such bull.... It ruins the thread that you make!

Cheers......

Ok. Thanks a lot. Just thought that it also supported widescreen when it supports 720p, which is a widescreen resolution!?

Cheers.........

I play on a widescreen TV... Doesn't seem stretched in 60hz.

My mate tells me he had to download some files to use some of the features on 360 for PES5.

Go to Xbox.com/games - you can download a zip file which contains the needed file then burn said file to a cd/dvd.

360 will load the update when you insert the disc you have made

Damm thats where I went wrong I should place the disk on the tray, and there I was putting the game on top of the TV and nothing was happening!!!

How more specific do you need!!! It doesn't recognise the game!!!

not that i have a 360, but if you don't have the premium version of 360 that comes with a hard disk, i believe you can not play xbox games. as far as i have read, xbox titles won't work unless you have a hard disk on your 360. correct me if i'm wrong.

You're right, you'll need a hard drive to dowmload install the emulator, that really sucks when you happen to buy the core version. BOOOO microsoft.
