pes5 released sooner?

release date

When i seen wot u guys were saying i thought i would check it out and on the hmv website it says the game will be released on the 4th of november. But im hoping it will be sooner.

firstly pes5 is not coming out on september 9th, anyone with half a brain knows that, secondly the last 2 years have been the same and this year will be the same again, that is the game will probably come out 14th october - the only release dates i've seen so far have been on play and amazon for the 28th, but they're just being cautious it will probably come out a couple of weeks earlier, i remember the same thing happening last year with pes4.

I agree. I think that this whole thread is a pathetic attempt at a practical joke. A newbie asked if it was coming out early and the senior members decided to string everybody else along. That's what happened.

In general, PES games have always been released around mid-late October now for the past 3 years.

PES2 was released on 25th October 2002, PES3 was released on 17th October 2003 and PES4 was released on 15th October 2004.

It looks like October at the earliest, again. Or at the very latest, early November.

My mistake.

I got my dates mixed up.

I bought GTA: San Andreas on 31st October 2004 and PES4 on 15th October 2004 - not the other way around.

My mate texted (and picture messaged - see below) me about this today actually, said they received some of their PES5 shipment early for some reason or other. He works at HMV and is working on smuggling a copy out of the store for me (although I've a feeling it may get as far as his PS2 then never quite reach me!). He says their not allowed to buy a copy early even though they're employees because of the release date being brought forward, but I think he just said that to keep me off his back!



I'll keep you all updated, I'll see him tomorrow with any luck.

Anyone could have printed the cover, but it is in fact the real cover, we got fifteen copies in our delivery this morning, as far as I know only Game, HMV and possibly Gamestation (Manager thinks they will be) will be getting any stock for next week. Places like WH Smiths, Woolworths and internet retailers won't be getting any copies until atleast October. We haven't really mentioned anything to customers as firstly we got the confirmation from head office this morning along with the delivery and that at the moment everything is PSP because of the launch.

Up to you guys, but I know when I'll be getting my copy, it's already stowed away in the staff draw along with two other copies. It's retarded though that even staff aren't allowed to buy the game before release date.

I don't know how HMV work as I don't work there, but we might get a few more copies before the release date, but generally we get them all at once. The Edinburgh Game, is a decent size store but it's no bigger than the Solihull branch, I imagine they'll get fifteen copies the same as us, at most.
