[PES5] Team-pes-x Ppf-patch

Patching For Dummies
Ok Guys,
If your like me and somewhat baffled by all the various bits of mumbo jumbo that are on the links for this patch, I managed to do it and i'm no tech wiz kid trust.....considering all the discs i wasted.
Firstly as the rest of the lads say you should only use the retail copy of PES5......
SECONDLY THIS PATCH IS DESIGNED TO WORKED ON MODIFIED PS2's!!!!
You will need 4 programs
(1) DVD Decryptor, (2) WINRAR, (3) PPF-o-MATIC and (in my case) (4)NERO programs to complete the process
1......The first thing you will need is the WINRAR program to extract the ppf files from the various ppf files you need to download
2.....You then have to download ALL 10 the files on the main thread this means
filefront_ppf_part1 (362 MB),
filefront_ppf_part2 (362 MB),
filefront_ppf_part3 (362 MB),
filefront_ppf_part4 (362 MB),
filefront_ppf_part5 (351 MB),
filefront_ppf_fix (14.4 MB),
filefront_ppf_update_part1 (181 MB)
filefront_ppf_update_part2 (174 MB)
filefront_ppf_update_fix (19.4 MB)
filefront_ppf_megaupdate (47.8 MB)
You will need all these files if you want the patch to work correctly
3.....Once you have ALL these files downloaded put them into a new seperate file, that is easy to access..I created a new file in "My Documents"
4....You can now run the WINRAR program to extract each of the individual files....This part confuses many so be careful!
THOUGH THERE ARE 10 PPF FILES TO DOWNLOAD WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED EXTRACTING THEM THERE WILL IN FACT BE FEWER FILES!!!!
5....The extracted files should now read as follows
(i) TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF(1)-------File Size 2.32 GB yes GB!!
(ii) TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF(2)------------File Size 2.49 MB
(iii) TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF_fix------------Files Size 22 MB
(iv) TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF_update-------File Size 514 MB
(v) TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF_update_fix----File Size 25 MB
(vi) TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF_megaupdate--File Size 62.2 MB
These 6 files are now used for patching the game
6....Place the retail copy of PES5 into DVD drive
7....Open up the DVD Decryptor program....Click "mode" on the top bar..and make sure that the ISO icons is selected to "R"/Read
8....Where it says "Destination" in the DVD Decryptor menu make sure you have a new empty file (i named it "PRO EV 5") in your "my documents" folder.
9....Once all this is ready select the DVD-HARD DRIVE icon
9....After DVD Decryptor is finished, you can NOW start patching the game

10....Open up the PPF O MATIC program
11....IN PPF O MATIC Where it says "ISO FILE" you must open up the folder "PRO EV 5" or the file that contains the original image from DVD Decryptor
****NB****ONE THING IS CRUCIAL FOR THE PATCHING PROCESS***

WHEN SELECTING THE ISO FILE IT WILL REMAIN THE SAME
FILE AS THE ONE SAVED FROM DVD DECRYPTOR
i.e the file named "PRO EV 5"

12...IN PPF O MATIC where it says "PATCH" you must select the TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF(1) file which contains the extracted files.....Open this file....Select TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF.....Then PPF PATCH....Then PPF1....Finally select Team-PES-X_ppf1 and select open.....once you have selected open click "APPLY"
13...You must now wait for the PPF program to patch
14....When finished again select "PRO EV 5" file and where it says patch again select TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF(1) file......Open this file....Select TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PPF.....Then PPF PATCH....
SELECT Then PPF2....Finally select Team-PES-X_ppf2 and when done select the "APPLY" logo on the ppf program
15....Again Select the "PRO EV 5" where it says ISO but this time select the PES FIX file as the patch and select APPLY
16....Next Select the same "PRO EV 5" but in "apply" select the PES UPDATE FILE .... select update 11.10.05....select update and finally "apply" on the program
17....Again Select the "PRO EV 5" as the ISO but apply the UPDATE FIX FILE and again select APPLY
18...To finish the patching select the "PRO EV 5" but this time select the MEGAUPDATE FILE and again select APPLY....
19....The game is now patched....
20...To complete the game insert a blank DVD-R into the DVD Drive...open the Nero Program....Select the DVD icon and select "Burn Image To Disc"......
21...The image that you will be burning will be the same as the one you have used throughout "PRO EV 5"
22...When the Burn Speed appears select the lowest speed possible......
21...When finished the game should work
THIS IS ALOT OF HASTLE I KNOW BUT I HAVE MADE IT AS EASY AS POSSIBLE THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY COMPLICATIONS IF THERE IS LET ME KNOW AND I WILL TRY AND HELP!!!!!
BUT AS I MENTIONED THIS GUIDE HAS BEEN MADE BY A PERSON WITH NOT VERY MUCH DETAILED KNOWLEDGE>>>>SO NO MAD HARD QUESTIONS!!!

Just thinking maybe you could list this thread number on the main page so that newbies can see what they are to do.....just a suggestion....as i was greatly helped by leonbears threads!!!
This patch is truely stunning.....as i mentioned before I think that for the none-technical geniuses (like myself) i really has to be made step by step so everyone can understand what to do!!!!!
For the rest of you, calm down the updates will be ready when they are ready!!
Dont pester NOFX for absolutely EVERYTHING!!! He is doing his best and for those who are impatient in looking for everything at once i really would like to see you create a patch as excellent as this!!!!

darrenkev! couple of questions for you:
can you put the size of the parts that we have downloaded?
ALSo have you tried to open your patched iso with graphic studio does it works?

Davor I have changed the thread above to include both the file sizes after you have downloaded the files as well as the file sizes after have been extracted......
However having mentioned the fact that I'm no wiz kid on the auld computers I cant answer whether or not you can open the ISO with graphics studio....ok?

i havent got it so can i download it or sumthing
ok....i have a problem!!...the problem is : i have patched the game correctly..when i go to NERO ..and burn image,,,,then a window appears:..it says: the entered block size is not corresponted to the image length ....the block size can be wrong..do you want to correct or ignore?.....what do i have to do?......please help me.... thnx

There really shouldn't be an issue with using Nero for burning the image onto the disc......Obviously there is a slight problem somewhere!!!!
Firstly make sure that you have selected the DVD icon and not CD or HD BURN....Im using Nero Startsmart!!!!
As too be expected with patching there will always be some room for trial and error....so i suggest you click ignore and then proceed to burn the image at the lowest speed.....Should this fail then try other way i.e by clicking correct....
Should both these methods fail then I recommend using DVD Decryptor to burn the image...This is done by clicking the mode icon on the top of the DVD decryptor selecting ISO and instead of using the R/Read Icon select W/Write Icon......Then select the patched image file and then click the Hard Drive-DVD icon on the bottom of the screen....Again making sure that you select the slowest butn speed possible.....

Dont worry i have all of them now how do i make a retail copy of pro evo 5
hi darrenkev....i have tried to burn it with nero and IGNORE the block size....and second i have tried to burn with dvd decrypter..neither worked.....i have tried a second one with NERO ..correct>>>but witch data mode should i accept and there is something with blocksize...2048/2352 ....
