you must patch the right id (availably from your retail version) and then you pass the dnas check screen !!

wow guys i spend an hour reading ALL the posts and finally i think i know why i CANT play the patched PES5..... i have downloaded the image from torrents 2 months ago...so i suppose it wasnt the official release just a beta? i didnt see any problems though in the game...anyway im following all the instructions and apply the patches with ppf o matic but the image produced is not recognised by nero/alcohol/ winhiip etc....so the only way is to create a fresh iso from the original disc??and then patch? thx!!!

ok tried the option file again but I keep getting corrupted data. can I use any option file of does it have to be the scorp one from the download? still can work out how to patch the dnas yet.

you can make boots without downloading it all you have to do is go to were you make the boots and click on type 1 then pick edit boots then to make vapours 2 basically you have to pick 1 on the first boxbox then on the one on the right you pick 5 then go back to the first box that you picked which was i underneath it you pick 5 then you have the vapours you can make LOTTOS and ADIDDAS the new ones also the puma kings and the new umbro boots by just pick the numbers like 4 and 4 and stuff like that

as NOFX told earlier: yes, it does. But to get the correct kits shown in the selection screen you should use the option file. As told by me:
without the option file playing with Ajax:
in selection screen the home kits are complete white and the away kits are completely black.
With option file: home kits are the orginal red/white shirts
Away kits are the dark blue and white shirts.

It is just what you prefer.. I prefer the perfect game and no possibilities that I select two kits which are pretty much the same.

now I understand, so will there be a fix for this, so that we dont need to install the option file?

I don't think you can play online 100%. You can go online after passing th DNAS, but when you and your opponent are done picking teams and go to 'team formations' it gives you a error message like 'lost connection'. But sometimes you are able to play online.

Anyone know what could be wrong?

I got that message a few times with the same person but not with anyone else. Dunno what it would be.

Intro

After patching my PES5 with this really good patch, the Intro Movie was great with different cutscenes mostly from the german bundesliga.

But now there comes an intro movie with the Champ.League Final game AC Milan vs. Liverpool;)

How could this happen? :innocent:

The AC Milan Intro is cool too, but the other were better.

I have no explanation for that, I hope someone has.

This patch doesn;t work because of the pal version. I tried everything, I am experienced in patching, and the only reason that the patch doesn;t work I believe it is the pal version. I have playstation pal 4 (Uk only) because I live in Greece. I belive that is made for pal 9 wich is used in northern countries. Does anyone has any suggestion for that?

Nofx where are you from realy ? and wich pal ps2 do you have???

update not getting unpacked

I cant get update part 1 & 2 unrarred.. I downloaded it for several times but everytime I get this message at 5% of unpacking:


! C:\Documents and Settings\Mo\Desktop\pes5 patch\TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_update[1].part1.rar: CRC failed in TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_update\update_10.11.2005\update .ppf. The file is corrupt


What wrong is the file not correct uploaded or what is it???

problem solved... The download file @ the FTP site (chaida.de) has the corrupted files, the ones on filefront did unpack the 2 update files..

DKZ update?

@nofx

I have installed the dkz version of team-pes-x patch and think its great apart from the dark menus. Does the update rectify my dark menu problem and will you be doing a dkz version of said update.
If no, is it possible to not patch the menu background files by unchecking them in dkz studio before running the rest of the patch. If this is possible could you please tell me which files I need to leave out.

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work as it is much appreciated.
